We arrived early evening and couldn't believe how close it was to a very busy main road, the pool is separated from the road by a 3 foot hedge. We were shown to our room (room 7) which was the smallest room we've ever stayed in. The furniture in the room was at least 30 years old and looked it, you could only open one of the wardrobe doors because the other one opened onto the bed which meant you couldn't use one of two drawers. My sheet had spots of blood on it and the towels were older than the furniture. The kitchen area was filthy and the 2 mugs provided were chipped and cracked, as for the rest of the cutlery and crockery, there was no way we were going to use it. I've saved the best till last, the bathroom, small, filthy and decrepid doesn't begin to describe it, if you sat on the toilet one foot had to be in the shower tray, it had filthy louvre Windows which had never been cleaned and wouldn't close, allowing mosquitoes to come and go as they pleased, as for the sink I didn't know they made sinks that small! We hoped our first impressions would be wrong and that everything would be better after a good nights sleep, some chance, it was like sleeping on the hard shoulder of the M25, the traffic never stopped all night. We got up the following morning and went for a walk and passed a really pretty group of appartments close to the beach, now we are not posh and certainly not rich but we did something we've never done before and booked into these appartments, I can safely say it was the best €150 we've ever spent.
We have travelled to Greece many times and always stopped in typical basic grecian appartments but these were beyond basic.
