Excellent euro-style beers: bitter, Belgian lager, wheat-beer, light porter. Very spartan... read more
Went at 3pm opening time and the bar wasn’t set up yet, owner was kind enough to let us in and told us only 3 beers were available of which we ordered the wheaty bee and the bitter bee, the wheaty bee was passable although nothing to write home about-very mild stone fruit after taste, things went rapidly downhill from there when he served us the bitter beer, clearly he should have just been honest and told us he didn’t have enough instead he poured what was left from his refrigerator into the glass from a mineral water bootle, I was too shocked to say much. I thought well maybe it’s the way it’s served here although the first beer he served was from the tap, and apparently they had quite a wild night the day before and clearly the owner wasn’t in the mood to talk..had a very surly disposition. I purposely took a cab to this place to try it out. And we all know how expensive the cabs are in koh samui!! Disappointed beyond words and clearly didn’t finish the beers. THB 210...cheap but please avoid like the plague, bottled lagers taste better than this ..
Good beer to change it up from Chang while traveling Thailand. Good service and beers. A little off the main path but with it.
Amazing beer, brewed here in the shop, very good taste, I had a lot of fun with my friends. They have different types of beers to offer from botter to sweet.
Great place with a small but wide range of craft beer. Lovely staff and owner. Quiet part of town. Worth a visit for beer lovers. If you just want Chang Chang and more Chang.. don't bother.
One of the few brew pubs in Thailand that makes an English style bitter. I couldn't get enough! Highly recommended for those who like real beer.
After nearly 2 weeks in Thailand drinking Chang and Singha, I’d had enough. I left my wife by the resort pool and went seeking out Bees Knees as the only brewer on Koh Samui. I had the bitter and the wheat Beer. At last, real beer with flavour and a bit cloudy.
The place was warm, no A/C, so you need to drink fairly quickly to keep them cold.
No food, but I understand you can bring in from nearby restaurants.
I went for the beer. They both were a touch more sour than I’d drink at home, but fine in the heat.
I was happy.
