After having Thai food, day in day out, we decided to try something different. So from trip advisor we decided to try this restaurant and we have no regrets.
The kimchi pancake and fried dumplings started off our meal. And it was a good start to the meal. Crisp pancake and crispy dumplings. Don't miss these starters.
For mains we had, the kimchi fried rice, the japchae, ribeye BBQ, pork belly BBQ and bulgogi. The fried rice that came with a perfect sunny side egg was absolutely delicious. As was the japchae (fried glass noodles). Ribeye BBQ was perfect. The owner herself BBQ the beef to perfection at our table side. The pork belly was the best. Only regret was that we ordered one portion. Bulgogi was perfect although the owner checked in to see if it was too salty for us. But with the white rice that they served it with- it was fine.
All in all, food was of high quality. But the service was impeccable. The owner a wonderful lady Ms Park was on hand to ensure that everything was done perfectly. And she even chipped in to ensure that the whole meal was true to her Korean roots. She also speaks English, Korean and French. So no problems with communication. We would return to eat here when in Ko Samui and would recommend this place to anyone wanting a break from pad thais and Thai curries. You won't regret it.
