We had a room with the jacuzzi right by the swimming pool and the beach entrance. The jacuzzi is nice, the water is let's say refreshing :) But yeah, you can make it.. The beach right by the hotel is not the best, but you can walk about 5-10minutes to the beautiful Ao Yon Beach. This place does not have its own restaurant, but there is plenty of places in a walking distance. I recommend either The Cove about 3km away or the Brasserie Yacht Club on the Ao Yon Beach. Or the local small places as well. This area is a bit separated so i recommend to rent a scooter (about 10EUR per day). Its quiet and not too crowded around here which i prefer!

I had no problems, the staff was always very helpful and i would not have a problem to stay here again, there was nothing wrong and its a nice and clean place.

Room Tip: Beachfront room

We spent 3 days and 2 nights at Davina and could not have had a more relaxing time. The team are friendly, attentive and downright delightful. They could not have done more if they tried.

We were in the beachside suite, directly behind the pool and a mere 20 steps to the beach. While there’s no restaurant or bar at the property, turn left or right on the beach and you’ll find a fantastic feed directly on the beach. If you’re a little more adventurous, hire a scooter from just up the road and investigate the main town, the backroads and generally just breathe! Thank you Davina, we shall return!

Very comfortable and friendly place to stay but in the middle of nowhere so you need a car.
Accommodation was very comfortable and clean, great staff who are very friendly. Great beachside option.

However and this is the drawback for me, the beach is not the best beach as it is not in open ocean, seemed to be very dirty with a lot of glass around. There was lots of building work along the beach and not a great deal of food options.

Hotel is located near Panwa beach and far from Kata and Patong. So rental motorbike or car are neccessary. There are only 4 private parking lots.
Room rate is not included breakfast but you can go to Phuket town to find local foods such as roti, dimsum.

There is Beach bar near hotel around 300 meters. Its a great bar with reasonable food price and good cocktail.

Ok to be clear the accommodation and the friendliness, service, attention to detail etc was everything that you need while in a relaxing family holiday. We cannot fault the rooms and the staff were extremely pleasant/helpful.
We met some wonderful people here also and have extremely fond memories of our trip
There is a family downside though and this is the beach which was not very child friendly. Thailand is famous for its gorgeous beaches however this one was disappointing. We have a young daughter who loves to play in the sea but this one was dirty(litter) and also there was a lot of glass to navigate in the water. We actually probably spent no more than 5 minutes in the sea here in 1 week.
There are a couple of great places to eat along the beach also.
Be warned you NEED a car to stay here as it is fairly remote.

The 3* score would be a 4+ if the beach was better and more child friendly....
