Sankhara is the most wonderful villa you can ask for Not only five star accommodation with so many special touches but the staff are the best. Attentive friendly and talented After staying here for 10 days with family I feel sorry for any future holiday villas as no one can top this. When coming back from our daughters wedding on IDDC the house and room were beautifully decorated. Definitely a ten! We love this place. You would not want to leave This is not your normal luxury villa This is the ultimate ❤️

Room Tip: Every room in the villa is great The master is spectacular with hamam, outdoor shower and huge balcony

A large spacious well appointed villa. Extremely good staff, who maintain the property on a daily basis. Very accommodating for your children and babies.
Just a great holiday spot. Sheltered swimming pool, Beach at the end of the garden.
A fifteen minute drive to closest supermarket.
Accommodated us with a late check out.
We were here for a birthday and the staff went the extra mile decorating the main bedroom.
Private chef was available for a dinner that was superb.

We had a lovely week stay in Villa Sankhara. The management and staff were all very helpful and organised a friendly chef who made us wonderful food. The masseurs that came were all fantastic. Enjoyed our walks on the peaceful beach. Shame the weather didn't permit us to go deep sea fishing so maybe next time. Thank you

We visited Sankhara in July 2014 and there were two couples and a single friend in our party, so well below the maximum occupancy of the largest of the two villas. From the first impression the villa looked "WOW!"--even better than in the photos available on the web! We liked very much the cosy interior of this Indonesian-style villa, tastefully decorated using warm colours and wood, and we felt truly at home--and what a home! The cleanliness of the villa, the bedrooms, and the outside areas was impeccable, and the maintenance personnel coordinated by Rekha did a perfect job. We contracted from Jean-Marc a butler (Robert, the butler being mandatory when booking the villa) and two professional chefs (Brayen and Didier). For a couple of days, we took the full meals planned and organized by Jean-Marc; they were always excellent, prepared in the professional kitchen of the villa (there are two kitchens in the villa, one for guest usage and one reserved for the stuff). Then we switched to a different mode: we would do the grocery shopping with Robert in the local market, which was a very nice and a special experience per se, and Brayen and Didier would cook what we brought them. We enjoyed that very much and we ate superbly while having quite a bit of fun exploring, planning, and selecting--and it turned out a fairly cheaper option compared to the initial menus. Honestly, we ought to their dedication quite a bit of our great time in Mauritius. Although it was winter season, we would take dips in the ocean and in the outer pool. The temperature of the air was about 20-25 degrees, and it was quite comfortable. This coast of the island is the windy one, and there were a few windy days while we were staying at the villa. However, the wind was far from uncomfortable, as we would still sun bathe and swim without problems. Sankhara is among the top places where we have ever stayed at, and no doubt we would stay there again if we visit Mauritius again.
