As we are a wedding party staying across the road we decided to eat at the Chinese out of convenience and as the wedding was the day after. The nice lady took us inside and sat us all at a big table with a lazy Susan. We ordered our drinks which took a while to arrive. We then ordered our starters. When the starters arrived only four arrived at once and therefore we had to start eating before the rest of the party or else it would go cold. When we eventually had all the starters we realised we were still missing one and the server started serving the mains. When we told her she wasn’t happy and kept saying ‘it’s on it’s way’. The main meals were okay and there were huge portions so a lot of food went to waste which was a shame. Especially the rice. The group had mixed reviews about their food but was convenient and decent priced for what we wanted at the time. The hostess seemed displeased with having a large group who were so noisy and felt as though she was struggling to keep on top of the food.

Staying across the road in a nearby hotel, We as a big party wanted Chinese. We were heading over anyway, but a lady calling all the males “Handsome Boy” tried to get us in, personally I don’t like being asked off the street into a restaurant, Anyway the big group went upstairs and at first it was welcoming, then order time, and it went just weird!”Handsome Boy” greeter I think cant handle pressure of a large group of tourists, I ordered first, and got my starter and main last.. My both courses were that late many in the party had finished the course I was still waiting on.. it’s just not right to be watching others eat while you’re wondering if they’ve forgetting to feed you! Food was actually “ok” but the honey chicken was lovely..

Go if you’re a small party of maybe two but if you’re a large group, stay clear! The server was far to flustered and unable to deal with large parties..

Grabbed lunch here and was not disappointed. Went for the lunch menu as seemed to have a fairly good selection and was good value. The owner was really hospitable, even though we had interrupted their lunch! My wife’s dish was not the one she ordered., turned up with sweet and sour chicken instead of beef chow mien. Offered to change it, but we kept with it due to time, turned out to be fantastic.

The portions were really big and the prices were really good. Good location as you’re on the first floor overlooking the Gap.

We were so looking forward to a Chinese meal and some people at our hotel recommended this place, we should have turned around and walked out as soon as we entered, it looked like a work place canteen, we checked out the menu which did look ok, we continued to order food we were familiar with, how disappointing, everything tasted like it had been cooked in old chip fat, other than tasting various dishes we refused to eat anything, we complained and refused to pay for any food, we paid for our drinks and left.
Do NOT eat here.

Great meal we had as a takeaway- chilli prawns were lovely. Also had the ribs and pork chow main with no complaints.
