We were incredibly lucky to get a room at the Hotel due to the high season demand over the Christmas days. When we arrived, the parking garage as well as the lots in front of the hotel where all taken, so I moved the car to the ski lift parking lot on the other side of the road, after unloading the luggage. The check-in gave us a warm welcome and quick proceeding to the room. Our room had a balcony and a nice view onto the lake. The bathroom had all the modern amenities expected, but the room was quite small. There are rooms in the facility that have a more modern design, but we do like the original mountain style. If you care, ask for the newly renovated rooms. In room bathrobes and towels for the sauna are provided, which is quite comfortable, but can get also confusing as all guest have the same. Within the sauna, there plenty of different saunas with all kind of temperature ranges. I do prefer the +90 degrees one. But once you want to rest, there are very limited beds to rest after the heat. Within the pool area you might find a good rest, but then the pool heat and playing kids noise also accompanies you. For all these guest that do not care about the SPA, the walk around the lake is absolutely must and an easy one. The area is very, incredibly beautiful. After sunset the area calms down as the skiers move back home. In the evening there are very few places where guest can get out in walking distance. We have been heading to the Alte Wurz Hütte, which was awesome, but due to strong demand you should book a table in the first place.
The breakfast buffet is rich and has everything as well as some relay nice local stuff like wild ham and local chees.
Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely go back to the Hotel.

the hotel was a good place that allowed us to get out of the office and change our mindset. a lovely setting, even if snowy. the rooms were comfortable if a bit old fashioned (decor). Food in the restaurant when ordered from the menu was very good. the conference food (buffet at lunch and dinner) was VERY salty. I particularly appreciated the 24-hour availability of the fitness center.

Location location location!
You cannot beat the setting next to a remote alpine lake. After the day crowds (not really crowds but it is an attraction) leave this is serenely peaceful and beautiful

Rooms are by now almost all modernized especially the bathrooms. The spa is not very big given the hotel size but the setting with direct access to the lake is great.

Rooms are especially nice for families many of them allow for extra beds.

The restaurants are still old Alpen style, but management is clearly committed.

Service is at time overwhelmed and slow e.g. During breakfast.

Overall recommended as a peaceful oasis and perfect starting point for Trecking vacation

Stayed at the Arabella Alpenhotel and were blown away. The hotel is great, the staff super friendly and very obliging.

Our room was a seaview-studio, with a marvelous view. Our dog had a very heartfelt welcome too, not only there's a all you can eat-and-drink-bar next to the reception, but he got his own bowl, blanket and toy to play with - so awesome.

The room was wonderful decorated (booked the special romantic offer - awesome!), clean and comfortable, including two balconies and this incredible view. The spa-area is just superb, with four different saunas, and a huge relaxation area inside and outside the spa. The hotel got his own lake-beacharea (grass, no sand), incl. a land - the water should probably be deep enough for careful headers^^

Nothing to complain about the breakfast - a wide range of tasty things to choose from, there's even a caffee machine for cappucino.

Of course there's free wifi, and the first filling of the minibar (three beers, water, coke and two juices) are completely for free.

Everyone who needs to take a break and loves to wander in the alps is very recommended to stay at the Arabella. Can't get any better.

I was on two separate occasions in March at the Arabella hotel. Once for my team's event with 15 people and then for a partner event with 60+ people. The location, the rooms, the food, the Organisation. Everything was very good!

Thanks for the great experience - we will be back!
