We stayed here for 2 nights on a driving trip around Iceland. It is in a great location for seeing Snaefellsnes Peninsula - close to good hiking, the national park and the ocean. The rooms, although not super charming, were very clean and had everything we needed. We were most surprised by the food - fresh baked, delicious bread for breakfast every morning and a dinner that far exceeded our expectations. Dinner is always cod or lamb but the preparation changes every night. I had cod on mushroom risotto that was one of the best meals we had on the trip. We also got great local advice on hikes and drives. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula.
