“Lovely place in Fulbourn - has all you want for your stay”

This property is ideal for a small family and has everything you will need during your stay. It is well connected to Cambridge by bus - there is a bus stop just across the road and buses to Cambridge run every 30 minutes.
We recommend this property to those who wish to visit Cambridge and areas nearby.

“Unique accomodation in lovely location”

Stayed for weekend with wife and two grown sons (one slept on sofa bed in lounge) and we found the chapel an ideal location for visiting Cambridge, while at the same time providing a unique self catering experience in a lovely village setting. Owners provided fresh eggs on morning of departure courtesy of their hens which roam the large shared garden. Beds all very comfortable. This property represents really good value given its location and character.

Warm, cosy cottage in quiet location yet close to major routes into Cambridge. Well equipped but the single mattresses were very poor quality and uncomfortable.

Management Response

We are so sorry you found the single mattresses uncomfortable. We have replaced the single bed mattress today and disposed of the spare one entirely as the single room is really too small for 2 adults to stay comfortably in the single room.
So the new mattress will be deeper, sprung and with memory foam and have a mattress topper on it too for added comfort.

“CHARMING COTTAGE”

We stayed for only 2 nights at The Old Chapel and wished we could have stayed longer.
The cottage has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Large living room with patio doors leading out to the large garden. A small well equipped kitchen. two bedrooms and bathroom.
There are very friendly chickens in the garden who will feed from your hand and interestingly some old headstones from its time as a chapel.
The village of Fulbourn, a 5 minute walk from the cottage, is a quintessential English village with thatched cottages and some lovely local shops. There is a great bus service literally from the cottage gate into Cambridge, which is about 4 miles away. London is only 45 minutes away by train from Cambridge.
We will definitely return in the future for a longer holiday

Wonderful place. Very clean. Denis and Ruth very helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble when asking questions. Local pub in the high street was very good and people very friendly. Stayed with 3 girlfriends for a girly weekend but will go back for another break with my husband hopefully very soon.
