This is a great little hotel in the hills just 20 minutes from Playa del Ingles. The views of the hills are spectacular, the rooms are great and spacious with well-equipped kitchen.
Tomas makes great food and Puri makes sure that you felt like home. The hotel has about 10 rooms, a pool, a dining area both inside and outside. The garden has plenty of orange and lemon trees.

It is a degree or two colder up in the hills than down on the beach. We hanged around the pool until about midday and then traveled down to the beach in the afternoon.

Food is very excellent and comes at a great value, about 5 euros for breakfast and 10 for dinner. You order your dinner from the menu in morning, the menu contains local options with both meat and fish and even vegetarian options.

The drive up and down the hill is a little interesting, it takes a couple of times to get used to – but as long as you take your time and watch for oncoming traffic it is not bad.
Parking on site could be improved as it is a little hard to maneuver the car into the designed spaces, however we always managed to find a space and get the car parked.

We stayed here for 3 nights and can highly recommend if its peace and quiet you are after. We were given room 7 which has 2 bedrooms a large bathroom, kitchen and seating area and a very large terrace.
Furnishings are simple yet comfortable and you have everything you need in the kitchen. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the on site restaurant provides large portions at a reasonable price.
There is also a large pool with plenty of sunbeds. It is about 30 minutes walk into Fataga village.

Room Tip: Rooms 7 and 8 give the most privacy and have the best rooms.

The Finca is situated in a valley to the north from Maspalomas, it is an approximately 40-minutes drive from the airport. The road between Maspalomas and the Finca (GC-60, direction Fataga) is as described in other reviews - a winding, sometimes narrow road with moderate to strong traffic (buses too). We took this road almost every day and never had any issues. Yes, you have to drive carefully, but the road quality is really good and that helps a lot. The Finca is found at km 35 on GC-60, and is signposted so it is easy to find. Parking at the Finca is challenging as the road is steep, but again, with some effort and skills is doable. We always found a spot for parking even though the accommodation was full. We rented apartment nr. 8 - a 2-bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms (towels, hand soap, hairdryer included), a small living room - dining area, a well equipped kitchen (toaster, filter coffee maker, a stove-top espresso maker too), and two balconies, with great view. Keep in mind tap water is not drinkable in Gran Canaria, so you will need to buy bottled water. You can either buy water on the spot, from the owners, or, in any shop in the city (there is one in Fataga, or another one in the last roundabout before you take GC-60). The owners, Tomas and Puri have a small restaurant on site, where they offer excellent breakfast (for an additional charge) with freshly squeezed orange juice included, and also dinner. If you inform them in the morning, they will prepare the meal of your choice for the evening. Otherwise, you can chose from a limited selection of meals (whatever they have fresh on the day). Portions are huge and all meals are really tasty. No one should miss the paella made by Tomas, it was excellent. On top of all, the owners are kind, welcoming, and can help you with advice on what to visit, where to park at the selected location etc.
If I need to write any negative feedback, our mattress become somewhat uncomfortable after a few days. Also, one of the bathrooms could do with some upgrades. But none of these would stop me to go back again. We loved this place.

Room Tip: Apartment 8 was great.

Myself and my 3 children are on the last of a 3 day stay here at tomas and puri s finca and what an experience for a family who usually stay at the beach resorts. We have LOVED it ..it would be impossible not to..the surroundings are just breathtaking in a valley of a thousand palms the views will be remembered forever..the finca itself is very traditional and our 3 bedroom apartment is huge very clean with everything we ve needed....the pool area is lovely lots of beds the pool itself a little cold but it is november....breakfast on the veranda is so good freshly sqeezed oranges(which you can pick from trees yourself if you want..we did) and cooked to order bacon an eggs for only 7.50 euro.....dinner was the best paella we ve ever had Tomas really is a great chef...although you feel very remote here we did manage to visit surrounding areas as the global bus stops right outside the finca we had a great journey to centre of the island Tejeda hairpin bends cut into mountain side made for a thrilling experience....we would recommend this finca and would hope to return when we next visit gran canaria.
