The villa was lovely. We were greeted by Helen. Bless her she'd sat up waiting for us after the air traffic controllers strike delaying us until after midnight. Nothing was a bother. She was very helpful. The villa is a decent size with 2 bathrooms with showers. We found the villa to be very clean. It was fully equipped and there was nothing we needed to rush out and buy. The fridge had water, peaches and a nice bottle of rose fizz in when we arrived. The village of Gennadi was lovely and a 1km (ish) walk either along the pebbly beach or the main road (there is no official sidewalk/pavement and drivers can be a little aggressive). There are some good local restaurants and shops. This was an excellent base from which we explored the island. My husband ensured we had a BBQ everyday beside the pool. The pool was clean and lit up at night in a very tasteful way. We were able to have a late checkout which made a huge difference to our last day as our flight was at 11pm. It was a fab holiday and if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Rhodes this is one place I would definitely go back to.
