Sorry to say that Avencio has retired and his second in command has taken over Havier I think this is how you spell it so the kitchen staff and waiting on have changed So their is some slight alterations to the food to what we have been use to for the last twenty years or so following Avencio around the village in his various restaurants
The cooking methods are certainly different and the
Canerian soup left a lot to be desired plus dont leave your bay leaves in and a few other minor details I do hope that time will tell But the Paella was good we had a few days later
The service is very good and nice table lay out and spotless glasses some of the older decoration has been remove and efforts to tidy up have been made but could still do with replacing his windows
Maybe things will change over time for the better but if you have not been their before you probably would not know any different
