I guess everyone has one of those disappointing holiday experiences. Where the gorgeous looking villa booked months ago turns out to be distinctly grotty; a match box instead of Mayfair, musty instead of must-have; however all of that would have been bearable if the neighbours had not started to demolish their home at 8am on the first day of our holiday. So we appealed for help and got offered a luxury lifeline by George, the lovely, lovely guy who - with a trusty cleaner, managed to get this replacement apartment ready in five hours. And I mean ready. I defy anyone not to have their jaw clatter on the polished concrete floor on seeing the view - swimming pool, pine trees, manicured gardens - your get from the massive balcony. As for this balcony; you could live on it given a fair wind and the odd pate sarnie....it even has a posh settee for goodness sake and matching posh cushions. It also has one of those luxe sun beds which you usually only see in a Kim Kardashian holiday snaps. If you do want to heat up a blini, you can do so in the state-of-the-art kitchen, but I suggest you just loaf on the four poster bed, admiring the oh-that's-nice soft furnishings while your other half plays with the touch control pad which can turn your heating up, get your security grills down and whip up a egg white omelette within seconds. We also loved the fact that this accommodation feels exclusive and yet it's a hop, skip and a jump away from some truly superb restaurants in surrounding Olhos d'agua. To sum up, this review is basically the story of how we went from the ridiculously basic to up-market luxury without a safety net or the right Manalo Blahnik shoes. One grumble; we are now spoiled for all other holiday accommodation and the idea of 'making do' in the future... pah - forget it darling.

We holidayed at this apartment with another couple. It was all it was advertised to be- safe, brand new, luxurious, fully equipped and a short walk to the Barranca beach and also to the quaint village & beach of Olhos do Agua. We rented a car and used this as our home base exploring the Algarve, visiting other towns and beaches. Lovely! We really appreciated Jorge, the manager. He was very helpful, meeting us with keys on arrival and just a text away should we have questions about the apartment or area.

Stayed for a week and loved the apartment. It's clean, modern and has a fabulous balcony. The pool and grounds were also beautiful. Within walking distance of village and beach. Can't wait to book up for next year.
1 review We had a lovely stay in this beautifully clean and modern apartment taking my elderly mother who thought it was wonderful and peaceful. Had the pool to myself every day. Beautiful surrounding beaches. Very accessible to both Alberferia and Villamoura. Lovely peacefull balcony overlooking the pool where my Mom was happy to spend a couple of hours relaxing and reading.

We stayed here in July 2014, and the apartment is extremely modern and ideally situated. The apartment is South facing, so half the balcony gets the sun, so the choice is yours if you want the sun or not.
The swimming pool is directly in front of the balcony so it was great for keeping the children in view. Also as this is a private rental, you basically have the pool all to yourself.
A nice touch with the apartment is that everything is automatic (all the shutters, A/C and even the lights) so with one touch of the central controller you can shut everything down when leaving for the day.
Everything has been furnished to an extremely high standard, even down to the private garage with the remote doors.
The local beach is approximately 10 mins slow walk away, and has everything you need.
The local town is about a 5 min slow walk, and has the usual shops, and an abundance of restaurants.
One of the other nice touches is that Jorge meets you on arrival and explains everything required for a perfect stay.
So in summary. Great apartment, great location, and great holiday.
