We stayed for a few nights in April 2015. The accommodation was amazing. Our bungalow was massive and having a kitchen was so nice. The grounds were gorgeous and garden like. We especially enjoyed the hot tub! The welcome breakfast gift basket was also incredible.

This amazing property was once a derelict farm. Converted into an amazing eco complex it is a fantastic place to meld with nature while still having every amenity you might find in a big hotel. The property has a handful of private bungalow style homes situated on several acres. They are each unique with different numbers of bedrooms and styles. Most of them were old grain mills and they make the perfect home away from home for any holiday. With full kitchens and private terraces, you will be in a lush, private sanctuary. With resident chickens, cute ducks that will follow you around and a giant carp you will be sure to feel like you are on a farm.
Its lush relaxation area is perfect for reading a book and listening to the sound of the nearby waterfall. The jungle-like outdoor cooking area is a great place to sit and have an espresso, or rowboat around the pond with the resident ducks, relax in a hot tub while listening to the rain or enjoy a home cooked meal on your own private patio. Just don’t forget to try Luisa’s home cooked banana cake that she leaves in all the rooms for an impromptu breakfast or midnight snack.

Room Tip: All the bungalows are amazing you won't be disappointed in any.

We stayed in a bungalow at Quinta Da Mo with our two year old son. The location was great, and the bungalow was clean and modern with free parking. The property is beautiful, and is maintained well. Luisa was a lovely host. She spent lots of time with us, going over things to do on the island, places to eat and giving us personal suggestions. We would definitely come back!

At the end of our vacation on the Azores we decided to stay in Furnas. Quinta da Mo is a beautiful place with an excellent privacy. Only 3 bungalows in a park-like property. Our house was a very modern one and well equipped. Our bed-room was on the first floor and provided a quite environment and a beautiful view through the roof, which was partly made of glass.

Luisa is a perfect host.
We did not like Furnas that much, but that had nothing to do with Quinta da Mo. We can higly recommend the accomodation.

Qunita da Mo managed to exceed our high expections based on its many 5 star reviews. We absolutely loved everything about it and would highly recommended it as an excellent base for accessing all that Sao Miguel has to offer.
