This unassuming restaurant is nestled in a little Muslim enclave on the very tip of Tanjung Benoa and you could easily miss it if your cabbie doesn't know it. We have been coming here for at least 10 years, in days gone by you could go out the back and select your live seafood from large concrete tanks. The methods of cooking are predominantly grilling, steaming and deep frying. All dishes come with garlic butter or sambal. A family run business with friendly service. Limited English but enough to get by. Great views watching to ships in the harbour at night. This restaurant has become very popular over the years resulting in bus loads of domestic tourists at times meaning booking is essential. With fame has come a significant increase in prices. Small to medium live prawns are $A60.00 per kilo more expensive than in Australia, lobster same price as at home. You will probably do better than in Jimbaran Bay as these people are honest and their scales accurate. The fish and prawns don't shrink between the scales and the plate.
