Hotel Holiday Beach - the best holidays. It's nice hotel. Very helpful staff.
Clear sea and nice swimming pool :-) And chiefly the best animation team. I recommend this hotel- beautiful place, fun and relax.

As hotel it was ok, the guy who was working as customer service was hostile asking daily whether the bill and the safe deposit box was paid, even though I had already paid in full. I thought it was customary to settle your safety deposit account at the end of your stay; not being asked twice a day in a rude fashion. When I confronted him, he said it was a "misunderstanding" between him (Sammy) and his night shift colleagues. He made my stay at the hotel very unwelcoming, never return there again.

My wife and I stayed at the Djerba beach sentido on Djerba for two weeks.
Arrived around 11 am were told our rooms would not be ready until 12.30 little else, we were given an armband and pointed to the nearest bar. At 12.30 we went to reception, Rooms were ready, got our key and a porter to carry our bags, From that moment we would not like to fault a thing, except the cheese.
The room was fine, garden view was not the best in the hotel, there a sea views available, but very pleasant and as we did not intend to spend a lot of time in there it was more than good enough.
More than I can say about the cheese.
After the first impression the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful none more than the cashier gentleman who ever time we had to visit the desk had a smile and a word to say.Very proud of his island and liked to talk and answer our questions about Djerba.
Didn't have much to say about the cheese though.
The beach area was kept very clean and tidy at all times, the sands turned every day by a tractor and even a gentleman patrolling all day picking up any bits of litter left around, plenty of beds but you have to be up early to get the best bits. The usual "tradesmen"strolling around selling different things but never allowed to be a bother if you wanted somthing you go to them.Very good not like the cheese.
The animation team worked hard to make sure you were not bored and have things going all day inviting you to take part but not persistent if you just wanted to laze and do nothing. A very pleasent lot indeed always time for a chat, the shows good and entertaining. If only the cheese was the same standard.
The bars are good, the waiters brilliant little or no waiting for a drink and some of the guy's entertaining and nice to chat to. Waiters 11 out of 10 ,cheese zero from 100
The meal times to me were blessed with waiters that were very good pleasant and made every effort to please The fair on parade was really good, very well presented and prepared, tried everything on show, all the Tunisian meals, special bits everything no faults except guess what? Yes the cheese, I love cheese but this "stuff" never bean cheese is plastic, chewy and tasteless.
Thomas Cook's rep was excellant, He didn't like the cheese either!!!!

Room Tip: Didn't take much notice but our room 2198 was ok but i'me sure that are rooms with better views

The room, which was booked by the individual for one person but the thing that I like because it's too far out on swimming pools and hotel in breach of internal and external.
But the service is good, but a great and wonderful Afattdq and its excellent services.

I was there 8 x in the past few years because it was great hotel with perfect food. Last time we were there in July 2013 and the changes on the hotel disappointed us.
We came there 3 days before Ramadan. Hotel (previously owned by LTI international chain) was full of arabs and that was a trigger for me to find out what's happened - LTI left the hotel. This change cause for tourists unpleasant change. Arabs usually swim in clothes (at least women) so imagine the real story - women went to the sea, then sat on the sand and then went to the swimming pool...
Another experience was that they are very loud and as they were "at home" they were absolutely intolerant - they "discuss" to each other from the pool to the room on the 1st floor irrespective of the fact that next to them our small child was sleeping. They look at every women like on the ..., because they are on the swimming costume only...
Happily the with Ramadan they dissapeared from the hotel (why to pay for all inclusive if you can't use it). Since that day everything was almost like in the past times but a more dirty. Also food was very delicious again (first a few days was really bad, every meat was like a chewing gum, meals without taste).
In the general - first 3 days was disaster and the rest (11 days) was fine - good food, helpfull receptionist, chambermaid, chef, gardener and some waiters (approx. 40 % of waiters were fine).
In the seazon all sun beds and umbrellas are ussually occupied, swimming pool is very nice with a pool bar and sitting in the pool, there is also small pool for children and biger inside pool, kid's club, hairdresser, doctor, massages, table tennis, animation team...
Hotel has also own beach with bar (non alcoholic drinks and a few meals during the lunch). There is another unpleasant change - beach was full of camels (stink), horses and their owners + dealers = noise and constant harassment. Previously it was forbidden for them to be on this beach...
Nearby there is just a few small shops, 2 cafe places and many hotels (some of them were suprisingly closed).
