“The perfect base.”
Reviewed 7 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

This was my 2nd stay in the Saltings and I have also stayed in the old workshop another of Jane & Johns properties within the same courtyard. I never look anywhere else for accommodation when in the area because I don't believe i will find a better value place to stay,it's finished to a high standard and is so convenient with a bus stop right outside for very easy access to the city.
It is in an ideal spot to explore the surrounding area without having the parking & traffic issues that you can suffer whilst staying in the city.
The Saltings provides everything you need for a comfortable stay and I would heartily recommend it to anyone.

“Just Lovely !!”
Reviewed 21 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We are just back home after spending a week at this lovely cottage . We have family living in Bath and we have just celebrated our twin grandchildren's 1st Birthday in Batheaston . We were so lucky to have found such a lovely place to stay so nearby our family. The cottage had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean . The provisions left for us were very much appreciated .. thank you ! The bed was very comfy .Perhaps an extra chair in the lounge would help as we found the settee a little small for 2 people to relax comfortably .Never the less , we would definitely book again .. a little gem !!

Thanks Harry and Maddy for your review. Pleased you found us, so close to your family and you enjoyed your stay. We've thought about an extra chair and it's a tricky balance between that and not over filling the room with furniture, but we will bear it in mind.

“Just Perfect!”
Reviewed 4 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

My husband and myself stayed at The Saltings for three nights and it was just perfect. The cottage is so cosy and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was so thoughtful. The location is brilliant - we walked into the city most days and got a bus back in the evenings. The bus stop is directly outside. The directions we were given were accurate and very easy to follow. It was lovely to meet John on our arrival. We will definately recommend it to our friends.|Thank you for a wonderful short break!

“Beautiful cottage, wonderful stay!”

This is a beautiful, well maintained, well equipped cottage. Originally the location put us off, however I'm glad we went ahead and booked here as getting to the centre of Bath couldn't have been easier, the bus stop is located right outside the courtyard and buying a day pass meant we could go in and out of town as often as we wanted. Booking this property was straightforward and the information provided for our stay in Bath was very helpful.

Thanks Lauren and so pleased you found the location suited you. This tends to be what happens. Initially people want to be very close to Bath centre but subsequently find our location just as convenient. Yes, the day pass is very good value and the real time digital display on the bus stop is great too, we think. Hope to welcome you again soon. John and Jane
