Description: We ourselves enjoy picking and choosing from menus to create our own dining experiences, full of an array of flavours and textures. So with this in mind we have created a menu of inspired share plates that facilitate your own individuality, aiming to constantly excite and tantalise your taste buds along the way. The essence of “Flux’ also extends into our beer and wine list which is constantly changing to bring a varied selection, just like the Noosa River.

Decided to eat dinner at Flux as the menu intrigued us and my partner and I enjoy sharing meals. The menu here changes every couple of months for the change in seasons and to keep interest in the place and test the imagination of the chefs. We enjoyed our visit, the food was very good without being excellent, the service was down to earth offering an on-site into the restaurant and meals. The best part about the tapas menu is that you can eat at your own pace - order as you go which is appealing to me.
Well worth the visit.

We saw some good reviews for Flux and thought we would drive from Brisbane for a lunch with friends. Wow, service was exceptional, food was sooo good I wanted to go back for dinner, and a great selection of wines. We will go back to stay at Noosaville just so we can eat here again. 6 stars guys, only a small place so make sure you book.

This is the first time I have felt compelled to review a restaurant twice! (The last time being 10 months ago and we've probably been here half a dozen times since. Consistency, at this level, in and of itself is unusual.)

We tend to eat at restaurants within walking distance from our home away from home on the beach in Hastings St. Seasons, Sails and Boardwalk Bistro get our reliable patronage. But we generally try to get some exercise and jump on our pushies and ride to Noosaville for lunch. While there are a few lovely restaurants there, we keep on ending up at Flux.

Today we had the sweet potato crisps (think ultra-thin bacon, not chips), crispy eggplant with tamarind peanut sauce, slow-cooked lamb belly, brocollini with jam, and chicken wings in sticky chilli caramel source. Having just come back from a few weeks overseas, hunting down the best restaurants we could find, we were humbled by what sits just outside our own backdoor.

Every dish was so much more than faultless - it was innovative.

Desserts, not so much of a range. But we have other restaurants we go to for dessert.

Big shout out to Mal whose service was friendly and right on the ball.

Very cosy with an exceptionally delicious spread of fine dining tapas. This is the place to sit and share multiple plates over a drink and chat away. We didn't expect to be so pleasantly surprised by the food, but it was well and beyond our expectations. Awesome staff and even the vegan waiters know exactly what to recommend if you're looking for something meaty. Very well priced. We will be back without a doubt!! On a side note, super awesome that they have paper straws and not plastic!! A big hats off for taking environmental responsibility.

Malcolm is the master of the front of the house and treated us with great consideration from the moment we walked in. We took advantage of the BYO and had a glass of wine watching sunset on the river front before heading into Flux. Malcolm got us water, explained everything about the menu and then proceeded to show us many of the dishes as he was taking them to other tables. This place is full of locals which to us is the sign of a great restaurant in a high tourist area. We had the following dishes

Shaved sweet potato - excellent, crispy and so moreish we could have eaten several orders
Green beans - nice & fresh - crispy but properly cooked with good seasoning
Grilled tiger prawns - delish - dig around for the pesto underneath
Seared scallops - nicely cooked with excellent flavor, Loved the textural element of the crispy chicken skin on top.
Pork and fennel meatballs - OMG delicious and that bread to sop up ALL the sauce

Loved our conversation with Malcolm - he made our meal an experience - thanks so much
