The 9th floor deluxe seaview room that I stayed in is clean and comfortable. Between seaview and hillview, it is probably better facing the sea because the latter faces a busy expressway. The hotel buffet breakfast is average. But they have good customer service. A staff on sensing my long wait for my omelette due to huge number of guests that morning made and brought it to my dining table.

This is the best hotel breakfast I have experienced to date. The food is fresh and tasty with a variety of local and international dishes.

The hotel is located next to a major mall with several bars and restaurants in the local vicinity. The area is safe and lively due to several European expats living nearby servicing the high-tech park in Kulim.

George Town is about 40mins drive from Eastin Hotel, an Uber there isn't expensive. It's well worth a visit as it is an almost perfectly preserved 19th century colonial town that has a wonderfully diverse and friendly population.

I stayed 4 nights on a recent business trip. When I checked-in, I was offered a room with 2 single beds. The single beds in most of the other hotels I have seen are of "double size" which can comfortably sleep an adult, so I didn't fuss, even though my preference would have been a single queen or king size bed. But these turned out to be twin size beds which are more appropriate for kids. So, I complained the next day and the only other room they had was the one with a loft. The bed upstairs was bigger and there was a bathroom upstairs, but it was extremely narrow and congested. But this was more convenient than using the bigger bathroom downstairs. The temperature control also was only downstairs, so if you got too hot or cold in the middle of the night, you would need to come down to adjust. Looks like they need more of the regular rooms, with queen/king size beds, for business travelers. It was bustling with corporate clients. Other than this, it was a great hotel - staff was friendly, restaurant had about 4 vegetarian options, so it covered my stay. The gym was decent.

My room is facing the sea with a very nice view which I can sew the sunrise every morning! Hotel is just next to Queensbay Mall, you can find a lot of restaurants, money exchange and supermarket easily without going far to outside, strongly recommend to stay here for business.

We stayed here due to the locatn. It was nearby to my son's campus and a walk away to the mall.
Everyone enjoyed the room. It was a loft with a kingsize bed upstairs and a kingsized bed dstairs. Both levels had a bathrm which made it very convenient for everyone. Very nice room - clean and colorfully decoratd.

The buffet breakfast, albeit not as elaborate as other hotels, had a good variety and, again, the family enjoyed their breakfast. We were not wanting of anythg.

Ample space in the hotel parking lot and we found the staff very helpful and courteous. We will not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
