Owner description: Queensbay Mall opened for business on 1 December 2006. It is currently the largest, longest and most modern shopping mall in Penang with a gross built up of 2.5 million sq ft and over 1 million sq ft net lettable area. The Mall is located in Bayan Lepas, minutes away from the Penang Bridge, the heart of a prime waterfront development sprawling over a land area of 73 acres. It is the most preferred shopping destination for both the locals and tourists – with 5 levels of retail’ Jusco as its anchor tenant with more than 10 junior anchors and 500 retail merchants.Besides a well-planned tenant mix, shoppers can enjoy the “low rise walk-thru” layout which stretches as far as 500 meters with excellent visibility of the shop façade and merchandizing displays. The facility and amenity signages are meticulously planned to enhance the convenience and comfort of the shoppers. The overall interior design and lightings are aimed to create a conducive and safe shopping environment for the whole family. Added to the attractions are the integrated entertainment zone on the third floor that provides a wide range of entertainment and leisure attractions ranging form multiplex to roller skating.Queensbay Mall with its tagline “It’s all happening here!” aptly epitomized the “enriched” lifestyles that Queensbay Mall offers – a place which is vibrant and full of activities, one can shop, play, relax, get together, entertain, be entertained. It is a “family lifestyle mall” of international standard catering to households who are looking for good value for money and the latest in designs and styles.Welcome to Queensbay Mall, It’s all happening here!

Cinemas on the top floor with a lot of shops. Not unpleasant at all. You can find a lot of what you might need here. This includes a couple of bookshops with books written in English.

“Great shopping mall”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 weeks ago via mobile

My family recommended this mall to me, although further from Georgetown where I was staying it's definitely worth a visit. You can get all your shopping done in the one place. It's clean, well laid out and offers many types of stores including a supermarket plus many food choices.

I will visit again next time but without the kids so I have longer to shop!

“Serving all purposes”

Second best to Guerney Plaza this mall is situated in a new residential area near the airport. The bus 401 from Pengkalan Weld stops also here. Filled with the usual Malaysian retailers there are also some upmarket brands as Coach and jewellery stores. The Aeon department store, quite basic though, holds three floors and the eating possibilities are abundant as allways including a supermarket in the basement. The Aeroline bus for Kuala Lumpur departs from here.

“Everything is here (Not too much for tourist though)”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 February 2017

Queensbay Mall is one of the biggest and most visited Mall in Penang Island. You can find everything here. Plus point it is located at the seaside overlooking Jerejak Island and Penang Bridge. Good place to see sun rise. There are many food trucks and small warung a the seaside too. But for tourist, especially foreign tourist who visiting Penang, you can just skip it. It just a mall anyway.

Not bad considered this is the largest mall on this part of island. Cost me about RM7 taking a uber ride from Olive Hotel. The Nyonya food at basement is delicious and of local food.

Plenty of renounced Brand here for everyone.

If u are tired, cross the road and try some massage at the shop
