Stayed for one night as part of our euro road trip. We arrived early and had no problems checking in as the room was ready. The lady on check in was very friendly and spoke good English, she gave us 4 passwords for the wifi. Our family room was on the top floor, it was extremely spacious in an L shape and had more of an apartment feel to it. Hand wash and shower gel were provided and there was nothing wrong with the towels we had. We spent a very comfortable night in our room after a long afternoon in Salzburg. The setting is just like in the pictures with stunning views. Breakfast was typical continental style, the cold meats and cheeses were delicious on the fresh bread. One of our favourite stops, thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The views were just as nice as we hoped. We thought it would be a problem to have to check in by 7 PM, but it wasn’t. In addition, if we had been late, there were people in the restaurant who would have been able to help. Since it was a small town without much choice to eat, we ate dinner at the hotel and really enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious and the setting so nice. While we enjoyed staying the night before closer to downtown Salzburg for the convenience of touring the typical Salzburg attractions, this was such a nice relaxing place to stay and we are really glad that we came to this hotel. We had ended up buying a 48 hour Salzburg card instead of just the 24 hour one to cover us when we were downtown, and there were plenty of attractions covered on the card that we just as close to this hotel, if not closer, than staying in Salzburg proper. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Lots of parking. Breakfast was nice. No complaints. A very quaint typical village to spend a night.

Room very basic, no toiletries, very compact bathroom. Room not suitable for disabled due to the position of the window (very high with little view and very hot/noisy during storm and heavy rain) Armchairs suitable for children not adults, once again totally useless for disabled. Table with a TV in a corner with lower ceiling, hurt my head twice. The bed was nice with crispy bed-linen. Breakfast OK, but no smile, or nice welcome from the owner. Restaurant leading to the breakfast room stung of cigarettes. Good parking, otherwise very disappointing like for an Austrian hotel.

Nice bed
Good position of the room for disabled (opposite the lift)
Good parking

Room Tip: Could not advice as our room was very dissapointing

Beautiful view of the mountains from our balcony! Lovely little town.

Very average room in a very average hotel. Spacious room but really lacking in character considering the age of the building. Reasonably clean I suppose. Crisp white sheets & thin towels - a bit like tea towels!

No tissues - something you usually get in even the most basic room! A bit hostel like at a hotel price.

Overall a quite ordinary experience given the hotel rating! Wouldn't stay here again.

Major wow factor! The room was clean, large and a beautiful view from our balcony of the Austrian alps! But I also want to warn all rental car drivers entering into this country, that to avoid a hefty $120.00 fine upon entering this country, you must purchase a $10.00 car decal. We did not know this, and feel it should have been explained to us by our rental car company. Shame on the country of Austria, for sitting at the border and issuing every rental car driver this hefty ticket! What a scam! Ruined our trip to this country!!!! Great hotel though!! Loved it!❤️
