Went for a 3d2n stay in a Family suite. One night was complimentary as my son had won it for a competition. Waterpark entrance tickets and breakfast were also included. A good deal IF the resort was in better shape and the waterpark can handle the large crowd. The room is spacious (a plus) but corridors, lifts and even lobby was not clean. It looked like they did not hire a cleaner to maintain the resort. Filthy. Food is limited and expensive as it was limited to buffets. We went out of the resort to nearby local restaurants. Food was not as great either but much cheaper. Night time carnival at resort is terribly run. Workers were smoking and operation of machine was just a job. Safery? None. Despite its terrible state, kids had fun while I worry if they will ever make it down from the rides safely. Never again. The animal farm was temporary closed to make way for the opening of the Safari World. God help the animals. If no proper care and environment is given to them, they will end up with only one animal being alive. I had no heart to ride the horses just opposite the resort. The kids loved the experience but I was more concerned about the horses. They looked miserable. Waterpark was another nightmare. Seriously, there should be strict implementation of the rules. Hygiene was a huge issue for me and overpriced food versus the quality. Visitors to the park (majority) did not observe swimming attire. There are many available in the market. Choose one including those intended to cover from head to toe. Instead, fully clothed humans just jumped in without showering prior to entering, most have their underwear, bras, t shirts, track bottoms, name it! I can actually count the number of visitors actually wearing proper attire. The water was terribly filthy with sand inside the pool as no one bothers to rinse their feet before going in from the sandy area. Bukit Gambang is also launching another resort soon. I am just wondering how they are going to handle the influx of people coming without improving the number of staff, the facilities etc. The whole idea of having resorts, water park, safari world and the masterplan of bukit gambang resort city will fall apart fast if this continues. Does the resort not want repeat customers? I am left disappointed with the great promo on website and media. The actual experience fell short by a lot.

Room Tip: If u must stay at BGRC, choose the family suite. Block N2 is good if you have kids. Nearer to the mini fun fair. Bring loads of drinking water, own towels and maggie mee for emergency situation when kids are super hungry. A tie over before actual meal times.

Maybe it was the wrong period. But it is clear that the resort is not capable of handling large crowd. We went there for a 3d2n church camp and although there's no unforseen circumstances, it is clear that the resort seems to be lacking in staffs to run the place.

The rooms were mediocre, and the floor's really dusty dirty although room service did come and sweep but it is not clean enough, just by walking around you'll have to wash your feet.

The restaurant is by far the worst let down. The food is either undercook, or overcook or tasteless. I usually won't complain much as it is buffet and the staffs have to feed so many people. My estimate the occupants reaches about 1k people in that resort.

I think they shouldn't have too many Island stores. Sometimes, the spoons and fork are in lack. The queues are long and probably the worst of all is the flies that kept on attacking the unprotected food.

Other than that, we did not visit the theme park although I heard that it is good, One thing that I would give a thumbs up is their wifi. They have routers everywhere and so the signal is strong wherever you are. Be it in rooms / hall / dining... The best part is probably the fact that the wifi never once dropped. Usually in places like this, you would expect that there are problems connecting and the router's ip is messed up and unable to use but here, that never happened.

Do bare in mind that this resort is out of nowhere and to get to Kuantan, it is at least 30 minutes drive... So only visit this place if you intend to go to the water park otherwise, I am not sure if I would stay there again.

Stayed in family suite. The room is nice and spacious but a bit old age. The super single bed is massive, can fit 2 person comfortably. Wifi is not good though, depends on room's location. better asked for room nearer with wife port.
Breakfast - variety of foods to choose from.
Complementary horse ride is a great experience.

Room Tip: asked for room nearer to wife router.

I booked 3 Days 2 Nights package for Family Suite. Its a 2 bedroom apartment. I'm very satisfied with the room. Even though there's no Astro has been provided.
My family and I had fun at the water park on 2nd day. Other than water park, we are also tried some outdoor activities/amusement park that are also provided at the resort.

I will recommend this resort to my friends and relatives and will go some other time!

We have a free voucher for 1 night stay at this resort. We bring our daughter there. The water park is fun and sufficient facilities for adults and kids. But the apartment cleanliness is an issue. Further as it was surrounded by jungle, one of the bathroom was full with some insects.

Room Tip: Choose a unit close to the reception area, or else enjoy walking to and fro for meals and other activity.
