“Excellent value!”
Reviewed 28 January 2015 for a stay in October 2014

We wanted to extend our holiday by a few days and revisit beautiful Brittany on our way back to St Malo. The apartment is in a quiet location but close enough to the main square to be able to go out for fresh bread before breakfast. There are a number of places to eat within walking distance, which is great. The apartment is very clean and well equipped and located in a lovely old house by the river, (it does need a bit of TLC on the outside). We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again. You can't beat it for value!

“Great flat in a lovely location: perfect for exploring eastern Brittany”
Reviewed 23 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

The flat is very French: not one of those antiseptic, soulless places like Holiday Inns, but a lovely flat which is extremely well equipped. We made good use of the picnic rucksack with its clever cool compartment at the back - especially for visits such as the one to Port de Dinan, where we not only hired bikes and cycles up and down the tracks beside the river, but also took a boat trip up through the nearest lock. The village itself has amazing facilities for a place its size - i.e. the local shops, restaurants and sports centre as well as the weekly market and the Bastille Day fireworks which attract locals from far and wide.

“Lovely apartment in an idylic village and perfect to explore the coast”
Reviewed 31 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We had a wonderful week at the apartment - actually it was our best holiday in France! The apartment is next to the river, FULL of typical French character, high ceilings, wooden windows, curved wooden staircase up to the apartment and is everything you imagine a French property to be!! It's set in a small picturesque village with everything you need - supermarket, bakeries, butchers (wonderful home made pates!!!) bars (we recommend Bar les Lacs - English speaking- very friendly and free wifi!) there are restaurants there too and the menus are VERY good! The lake is just a very short walk from the apartment and is good to walk around - especially if you have dogs like we have. If you didn't want to leave the village there is everything you need there! One day we just walked around the village, stopping for a meal, then going for a drink! It was so easy and convenient. The coast is only 30kms away and has some wonderful beach front town -full of bars, restaurants and perfectly white sandy beaches!
Thank you for a brilliant holiday - it will be hard to beat and we will miss going to the bakery every morning and sampling all they had!

“Great holiday, lovely place!”

We had a fantastic holiday here. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed, it also looked out on to the river which was great. There are two bakeries in the village, perfect for early morning croissants!

“Idyllic!”
Reviewed 15 October 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We had a very relaxing week—the weather was lovely and the village is very pretty. We enjoyed eating in the local restaurants (moules frites & beer) and picnicking by the lake (fresh bread from the local bakery & cheese). The accommodation was clean and comfortable. We went on a couple of day trips to the beach, and we saw the Tour de France pass through Dinan. Très bon!
