Me and my partner Monika bumped into this nice looking restaurant on the way from Chia beach. We gave it a go but it was a terrible mistake!!!

So where to start. Well, at first we were happy that the menu is in English but that was the only positive thing we can write about this place!

We' have chosen to sit outside as we both smoke but due to bees invasion we were forced to move inside.. It didn't help. Bees followed us inside.

I have ordered Fish and my partner caprese salad and pizza. Caprese salad made us laugh when they brought plate with one sliced tomato under whole mozzarella cheese. Where is olive oil? Balsamic? Few minutes later cup full of dried basil aka "do it yourself" arrived. I am no expert but this wasn't a salad just cheese and tomato.

Pizza looking like burned piece of vinyl came second. The taste wasn't Italian standard we are used to, more like Tesco for £2.
While my partner finished her "lovely" pizza my fish was nowhere near my table. 15 minutes later and few cigarettes I went to ask "where is my fish?"
When the plate arrived the "fun" continued. Fish was burned from the outside and raw from the inside also left with guts.... I thought that was a prank at first but waiter was absolute serious... There was to way I would eat this ****. I returned the fish and asked for the bill. We ended up paying €20 for tomato on a plate and something they called pizza.

I left hungry and disgusted. AVOID!!

my girlfriend and i ran into this hotel on a trip in Sardegna. The location of the hotel is splendid, rooms with seaview and 3 private beaches, although the best one was closed. The complex was built in the 80's, and since then, left unchanged. So if you want to relive the times you watched Miami Vice and the A-team, this is the place to be! The interior of the rooms is OK, execpt for the bed, which in our case was a little too much on the soft side. They gave us a reasonalbe deal from 80 euro's, 2 persons halfboard, but we dedided to leave after 2 days because we couldnt take it anymore. The real bummer in this hotel is the quality of the food and the service level of the staff.

Staff seems to be the same as in the 80's, including their clothing. One time we were having dinner with the TV on, the next time with a zooming refrigerator in the background. The lady who served us seemed to be working in routine mode for more than 40 years, and she bestood it to even serve the main plate while my girlfriend was still eating her starter!

The food also came straight out of the recipebooks of the 80's, with as most disappointingly main dish: squids that tasted like boiled condoms. Breakfast was equally terrible: a wide arrangement of chemical cookies and cakes was available, alternated with old bread.

No matter how beautiful the site is and how mesmerizing the view from the room, this hotel should seriously reconsider tearing down the whole place and starting from scratch again, with new staff.

Great help, and super friendly staff, big thanks to Marianna, Susanna, Christina and Paola which made our stay more enjoyable. We have enjoyed the nice big swimming pool during our 4 weeks stay at the Baia delle Ginestre.
The large variation of the dinner buffet have pleased all of our 50 group members, and also those with kids very appreciated the Baby dancing animated by Daniele and Francesca.
