Arrived at the pier for Sunday lunch. Offered a drink straight away while our table was made ready. Menu looked lovely but couldn't decide what roast to have. We said we couldn't decide but advised we could split the meat so had beef & lamb which was fantastic. Veg always cooked so well & always so much of it. It was hot & presented well, crisp carrots & pure white crisp cauliflower. We was left to let dinner go down while we decided about dessert. We had home made plum & rhubarb crumble which was perfect, tart but sweet.
We had a bottle of wine which dinner & the bill wasn't expensive, well worth the money.
The pub is family friendly & very welcoming. Very nice afternoon.
