We checked in around 5.30 and were really tired as we were travelling from India. There was no bell boy to help us with the luggage but there is lift so that was not an issue. Indeed the man working at the desk was by himself he had to answer to every guest s requests. He did really well!
We later enjoyed the swimming pool facility which was nice but really narrow toward one end. Hopefully not all the guests will be in the pool at the same time as it might be really tight! Without stating that there is not many long chairs..
In terms of cleanliness it was okay but some area near the pool could be better maintained!
The room itself was well appointed featuring everything you need and even complimentary waters. We couldn't use the safe but the receptionist came and sorted out the problem. What was surprising on that they don't have any dining options after 3pm!!! Fortunately there are plenty of restaurants around offering Thai and Western needs. That night we discovered the best restaurant with the best food we had in Thailand! Small but delicious where all the locals go..
This hotel is great for a night or 2 max on small budget and low expectations..
Breakfast offered the least and lowest quality of food but considering the price it was fine

Breakfast was average. Location pretty good. Staff was helpful. Hotel was quite clean. The pool area wasn't that nice. Very small and sun did'nt shine there. The restaurant next to the hotel is pretty good.

We have stayed for many years in this hotel and love it. When we started coming to Phuket we always stayed at 5 stars hotels, because I have a strong fobi for cockroaches and always believed that the more exclusive the hotel, the less chance there would be for having that problem. Then we retired and wanted to stay longer periods and one day we decided to try out a 3 star hotel, because it was less than half the price. If it was bad we would just move, we said to ourselves. But we can honestly say that for half the price we now have twice the fun! We just love it here. We have everything we need, nice beds, television (which we never use) air condition, fridge, safe box, nice bathroom, a balcony and big rooms, which means a lot to us, since we now stay many weeks at the time. And definately no cockroaches, or moscitos for that matter. We never saw one. But we never sit outside on the balcony at night! The best of all, it has a really great location, you are near to everything, the beach, restaurants, massage places and laundry service across the street for 50 bath per kilo. What more can you ask for? Wifi sometimes a little slow in peak hours, but we live easily with that. Plus you have that problem everywhere here. The owner, Jade, is the nicest person and so is her staff! Thank you Honey for your great service, and Bestty in the reception is the best!!

I stayed in Honey Resort for just over a week this december.

The location is great. Just next to the beack and the night market. The rooms are spacious and clean.

However, the pool was not always impecable and the lounge chairs often needed some cleaning as people managed to bring in sand on them for some obscure reason.

A little effort for the environment would be highlty appreciated by not changing all the towels every single day.

Room Tip: opt for upper floors if you can
