To start No! Pickup at Airport had to get taxi, so arived late. Rooms clean starf good Would go back we stayed for one month Jan 14/17 to Feb 14/17 The beach just across the road. And many people used it but the thing that was different from last year was the bar was opened every morning at 11am and it was not used as much as it should have been as hotel clients went to a shop outside and bought their drink and food and some people had the nerve to ask the barman to open their bottles for them.

The room was actually really nice, the balcony had a great view and it was quite big. The manager at the reception also was really helpful and friendly when we wanted to shorten our stay.

The negative side for me was the astonishing amount of other tourists in the area. I guess this shouldn't come as a surprise though. But still, too crowded and a bit too big hotel for my taste.

We stayed here for a week, and although it was clean, it had a few downfalls.
It had all you needed, though I wouldn't recommend it for a family or a couple. Heavily Russian occupants and location (ended up googling why there were so many Russians in Karon/Phuket. Not friendly at all - signs are in Thai, English & Russian). It has a pool, though very dated, ripped plastic day bed covers that burn due to the heat. Wouldn't recommend including breakfast in your stay, very basic and not many options. Karon Beach is right across the road, though there is no shade, the waves are pretty full on, rips and heavy currents. Not a beach to relax, swim or wallow - not good for children. (Highly recommend going 5 mins down the road and stay in Kata beach) On the plus, the restaurants, markets and walkability is awesome. Karon Market has a great selection of clothes and gifts. Loved eating and drinking in Karon.

Room Tip: Upper levels have a better view, recommend being in the rear of the hotel.

The Karon Princess is beach front on Karon Beach. Its a little aged, but everything is in good working order. The Shower has plenty on water and is hot! The room housekeeping staff do a great job.
Its very popular with the Russian Tour Groups and the guests are mostly from the Soviet Block
Breakfast menu is mixture of Thai and European food with fruit, cereal, toast, noodles, chicken sausage/bacon and an egg station.
Now the negatives.
The WIFI has great signal strength with lots of routers BUT the system drops you out and another sign in is required - even when you tick the "Remember Me" box.
The password is for only one device at a time.
A service road to the staff clock in/out runs down the length of the hotel past all the rooms. Motor bikes start arriving at 05:30. Guest with a 06:00 flight walk down this path with their noisy roller suitcases at 03:00 as well.
Staff English level are very poor.

Find this hotel close to beach.
It is a nice place to relax.
Staff some friendly and some do not have it at all.
Rooms big with kingsize bed, big bathroom,
Small balcony with chairs and table. Furniture heavy dark wood but in good order.
The room was serviced every day very well.
Two good pools, with greenery around.
Breakfast with quite few choices, and eggs made up to order, but gives me a little bit the feeling of a canteen.
Very happy with the price compared with what you get.
There are some trees around and the hotel looks very nice, but it has not really a cosy feeling.
Outside the beach look at my pictures,
I would go back,
but the whole Karon beach is very turist orienteted, and prices are much higher than Bangkok.I feel the real Thailand is not here.
The whole place seem to be for the Russian
visitors.
