We had a perfect staycation at Renaissance Bali. Very high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
One of the most striking things is the amazing views of the ocean, the bukit peninsula, and the mountains beyond. Taking a morning swim in the infinity pool while gazing out to Mount Agung in the distance was sublime.
We received a very warm welcome by friendly staff, including a tasty welcome drink as we checked in.
Our room was very nice indeed: spacious, well equipped, comfortable, amazing view out to the ocean,
Breakfast was a treat. Wide variety of delicious food, attentive staff.
Our 2-year-old also loved the hotel. Not just playing in the pool, but also the kids club, which has plenty of toys and games for the little ones.
We also had a great time at the Rooster Beach Club, which you can reach by taking a shuttle from the hotel.

We had a very unpleasant and disturbing experience with the event management team (Erlinda Christiany, Melisa Purnomo) at the Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa. Due to the travel restriction posted by the Indonesian government for international travelers, we had to cancel our wedding in Bali planned in April 2020. With all the disappointment, we communicated to the hotel for cancellation of the group accomodation bookings immediately and requested for a full refund due to this extreme circumstance.

At first, the hotel event management team was pushing us to accept the option of vouchers. As we insisted for a full refund, the team finally agreed for a refund to be issued sometime in Q1 2021 with no certain timeline confirmed. We have been very understanding and patient during the process, as we are aware that the entire industry is experiencing difficulties during this pandemic. However, with multiple follow-ups during 2020 - 2021, we never got a confirmed response or update on when the refund process can be started or why there is a significant delay.

In Q1 2021, we reached out again to the team to follow up on this. But this time, we have been completely ignored for multiple follow-ups. We have also tried to call the office to speak with the team, but the key personnel tried to avoid speaking to us or give us an answer. Within this process, there was no professionalism that meets a standard of 5 start hotel service, a siginificant lack of clear communication and zero transparency!! Ignoring your customer is never a valid and wise resolution to an issue.

Once again everything was remarkable! Wiwin reached out in advance of our stay and helped sort all the details of our visit. Check in was quick and efficient, and we loved our "family loft suite" for the next 3 days! CNY dinner at Clay Craft was delicious and our server Agung made it all the more special. Everyone was friendly and helped to make our stay all the more amazing. This was our 5th stay and trust me, we will return again soon!
