We spent one night on our travels to Kandy from Negombo...the greeting and service was second to none...the view was spectacular and the mountain air was refreshing break from the heat and humidity below. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable...bathroom big and modern.

Would definitely recommend this accommodation for a couple of nights rest to recharge and prepare for the rest of your adventure.

Room Tip: I don't think you would go wrong in any of the rooms all beautiful cool and very spacious

This was a stellar property that we unfortunately could only stay in for one night. We happened to be the first to stay at a just opened bungalow. Staff were attentive and obliging. The view the surrounding countryside was spectacular. Great pool which we unfortunately were unable to sample. Great wifi and lots of satellite channels in many languages. And a great old dining hall plenty of maps and pictures from old Ceylon. Very tasty dinner and breakfast which included French specialties such as a croque monsieur sandwich. Would love to return.

my wife & I stayed here for 2 nights. It's a lovely colonial style house with spacious comfortable rooms. The drive up is long and in the rain the terrain can be rough. The views are fantastic. There is a lovely functioning tea grove and all kinds of fruits & spices in the gardens. We had our own "butler" Tharang and he catered to our every need. We were so very touched by his kindness, generosity and care. The food is very good. The pool has a fantastic view. We would stay here again.

We spent only one night in this nice and colonial boutique hotel. It is located in the middle of the mountains (pretty hard to access) but with so nice views. The swimming pool is beautiful. The service was very good. They welcomed us with the same nice ritual than other nice hotels in SriLanka (clean wet towels to wash hands, fresh juice, all the team smiling). They had our room prepared nicely. The dinner was very tasty, a bit spicy maybe for me.
It's a very quite place and there is no much to do except relax and read.

This is a truly special place. The very definition of boutique. We were greeted warmly by the staff and throughout our stay they worked tirelessly to provide a truly personalised and top class level of service. Tharanga, butler and pool specialist was a perfect host - that pool was the clearest I have ever seen (and not a hint of chemicals). The rooms within the bungalow are beautiful, four-poster beds with colonial furniture and truly stunning bathrooms (roll top bath, double shower...). The food was superb and on request they even arranged for us to spend some time in the kitchen (including dressing us in local attire). The chef personally wrote out a few recipes that we had requested and spent time with us explaining his methods.

When we were there they were in the process of building 5 new villas within the grounds perched on the edge of the mountain which will be lovely when complete I'm sure. We were devastated to leave after 2 amazing nights here and highly recommend it!
