Visited as a family and table of 6.

What can I say the meal was outstanding, three of us had the Rack of Ribs. Oh want a rack it was HUGE at least 1/2 the size bigger than a normal full rack you would expect. only one of the three was able to clear his plate.

I would comment that they could maybe have been cooked a little bit longer to make them a bit more fall off the bone.

All other meals ordered were also of a very high quality and all party members were stuffed upon leaving. wold love to visit again next time i'm in the area.

We had been out dropping supplies to friends and family that could not get out due to the snow so decided to pop in on the way back for a warm up and a well deserved pint of their very well kept Guinness.

Nice to see so many locals in enjoying some warmth out of the snow.

Then very kindly hayley had been out to the kitchen which was closed due to the bad weather and made a very well received selection of food for the customers.

What a truly kind and thoughtful gesture. The hot beef rolls and local butchers sausages etc went down a treat.

Thanks you so much. Truly the hub of a lovely little village.

Once again a faultless Sunday roast, tender beef enormous Yorkshire Puddings and perfectly cooked vegetables. This really is the best in the area, we will return Glynne and Carolyn, Bristol

Popped in on a Saturday lunchtime as we were staying locally. Reasonable choice of cask beers served by a very polite young lady. Seems well used by locals & from driving past on Sunday looks like a popular Sunday lunch choice. Friendly enough local family run pub, what’s not to like?
