The Thai seafood here is really not bad. Sea food is fresh, cooking style here is very authentic Thai cooking. Environment here is also very nice. You will be having lunch or dinner next to the sea. A must try place when in Pattaya.

Moom Aroi is located at the end of Pattaya-Naklua Road, North of Pattaya Bay. From Dolphin Circle, next to Terminal 21 Pattaya, turn to Naklua Road and head right to the end, before it turns right to link up with Sukhumvit Highway towards Bangkok.

I find Moom aroi too commercialised and expensive to my liking as it now caters to more big groups of tourists / package tours and food is so-so only as compared to the past...

For cheaper and fresh local seafood, better alternative the nearby Naklua seafood market which is only 5 mins away.

I visited several Seafood restaurants in Pattaya in the past 2 weeks and find Moom Aroi is the best. It is popular and serves big group of people while the quality is still high. The popular menu is Squid stir fried with fermented eggs. For this evening I found Crab with curry, Mantis shrimps with garlic and cabbage with fish sauce are also good.

First time at this branch during a hectic lunch time. Management obviously did not train their staff well on how to handle busy lunch time. Had better service at another branch.

We visited as a party of six with no reservation. We were lucky to secure a seafront table with beautiful views and the sound of the waves lapping to the shore. We were with Thai friends who took charge of ordering from the extensive menu. I am not sure how we would have fared without them as we did not have to try and navigate the menu or order in English.
All our dishes came quite quickly and were really tasty.
The service is a little impersonal. This is probably down to the size of the restaurant which results in the waiters using walkie talkies that are constantly audible in the background which detracts from the atmosphere somewhat.
However it was an enjoyable evening and worth a visit if you are in the area.
