No doubts that when it comes to location, views and gorgeous sun sets there are not too many places like Club Hotel Casapueblo a building that obviously was inspired by Picasso and Gaudi. However, location, views and gorgeous sun sets over the Atlantic Ocean are not enough to ignore the poor maid service, the lack of cleanliness in some of the hall ways where cans of beer and dirty dishes were not picked up for days, old and cracked sinks, old fashioned micro wave and refrigerator and a rather poor breakfast buffet.
The whole place screams :"take care of me before I fall into the ocean."

Room Tip: Ask for a room with balcony, terrace and /or ocean view

A very pleasant hotel built on the side of a cliff overlooking the sea. The room was clean and spacious with an excellent balcony overlooking the sea. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Wifi was a bit dodgy at times. Parking is a bit of a nightmare during busy periods. There was a party on in the pool area (they seem to happen a lot). Fortunately the music was very good. Overall a positive and memorable experience.

Room Tip: I think all rooms have a sea view but check just in case.

Upon check-in on the first day the reception informed us that they are hosting a private party, hence the pool and the restaurant would be closed to the hotel guests and there would be loud music from 3pm to midnight. The noise from the party was so unbearable that we had to leave the hotel for the remainder of the day. The hotel itself is in very poor condition – looks like it hasn’t been re-furbished since the 80s, grubby sheets and towels, hot water from a small boiler (which is barely enough for one quick shower), staff very unhelpful and unfriendly. The view from the hotel rooms is nice but the best way to enjoy the sunset is to pay a small cover charge for access to the hotel bar, which is open to the public.

After arriving at Casapueblo we searched for the museum entrance and after entering we were amazed by just everything, the view of the peninsula is awesome, the art and life of the artist can be seen through his many great art works all around the place. This is definitely one of the best museums we visited, both for the art and passion printed on its walls and for the amazing views. Absolutely worth a visit!

We are at Casa Pueblo on December 28th when unknown to us they are having an all day party. Which would not be so bad except they play the worst music over and over again at the highest volume rendering a visit by anyone not in the party a complete disaster.

Room Tip: All rooms have fabulous views
