Hotel room was not maintained. Toilet didn’t flush, room had mold on walls and restroom. Hot water ran out after a few minutes resulting in cold showers. Partner had to wait to take shower. Complained to no avail. Other family members also had same complaints. I would not recommend this property. Over priced for what you get.

If I could I would give a negative star. The hotel sells the rooms as if it was a 5 star hotel, unfortunately, La Quinta Inn would be a better stay.
Reasons for being this harsh:
- The room is full with mold, humidity spots in every wall. If you want a nice asthma attack, this is your place!
- They couldn’t afford to put tile or carpet. Dirty and cold concrete floors for the night walk to the bathroom.
- I asked for an ironing kit. You get an iron without ironing board.
- House keeping service is subpar. Not the cleaning ladies issue it resides with management and the lack of training or lack of staff.
- No proper lobby, no room service, no TV
- You check-in in the “LOBBY” then you DRIVE 5 minutes to your room
- SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST
“Free breakfast included” DONT LIE!!
You get a discount of 10 dollars. Be honest don’t lie!!!

There must have been some communication error about breakfast, some rates include American breakfast, clarifying that it is not a discount, it is an American breakfast and in case you need to order something else or you do not want your american breakfast, we can take your coupon as a credit of $10 USD, we regret that apparently we did not communicate it properly.

Check in was easy, the staff was professional and courteous.
Transportation was a breeze, he was knowledgeable of the valley and surrounding areas.
The meals at Cantera and Huevo Republic were absolutely delicious.
Hotel staff was nice and genuine, a true asset for this resort.
Room cleaning lady did not knock on the door, she just let herself in our room, and then bolted out.
Our room had a humidity issue, everything was damp at all times: toilet paper, walls, our shoes, clothes.
There is no TV in the room
Depending on where you are located, it can be a long walk, uphill, on a dirt road if you want to go to their restaurants.
What we paid for does not match at all with the fantastic pictures used to advertise the property, I was short-changed. Next time, I would book elsewhere and come here for the food and drinks.
We appreciate the comments that undoubtedly help us improve, these dates being the rainy season, it has been a bit difficult to keep the roads and facilities free of damage and humidity, we work every day to improve it, thank you again for your comments.
The staff were very pleasant. The room was nice size but as I said before we needed a full length mirror, more trash bins and an extra blanket or two. The room also had no refrigerator...
Overall the hotel needs to put in more paved walkways.
I stayed 2 nights and found the room very expensive for what I got. I was there for a wedding so what could I do...I'm sure things will improve in time. As I said the staff were very nice and helpful.

Maglen has so far 3 different sections (and growing), First section is where you do the Check in, you will notice the restaurant CANTERA and 90.8 Brewery. This is also where google maps will take you if you type ¨Maglen Resort¨just look for the check in sign. They will guide you to your room and help with luggage. They have normal hotel rooms in the first section, next section - one minute away by car- is called TESELA, great rooms with amazing view of the valley, Glamping on the top section -a minute away by car from TESELA - in front of the VILLAS section where YUMANO restaurant and AROMA coffeshop are.
TIP FOR MANAGEMENT: Watch for the humid damage on villas, wood doors can get difficult to open/close. In my personal case, the last day (Sunday) there was no hot/warm water in the shower.
