We had our lunch here after reading reviews on it. The food was just awesome. Very Thai with all the spices you would visit Thailand for. Seafood very affordable. Food was really good from the king prawns to local soup .. Superb. Hope to go back soon ☺️

We have been holidaying in Kamala for several years and we always visit Sweet Dreams, it is one of the better restaurants along the road, the staff are really pleasant and welcoming. But most importantly the food is consistently good and well priced - ideal if your looking for fresh Thai food.
We visited at least once a week on out recent 3 week stay in Kamala and is definitely somewhere I would recommend

Nestled near Kamala Beach, Sweet Dreams is great when you want a break from typical Thai Cuisine - and it's a relaxed and cool environment with great prices to boot.

The food:

While Sweet Dreams of course offers traditional Thai food, they also have a good variety, ranging from Italian (mostly pastas) to American (hamburgers, grilled cheese, etc.) - and their menu offered some tempting options that seem to combine a handful of options. And note that seafood seems to be their specialty!

The environment:

With live tropical plants, bamboo construction, and tree vines all around, it's the exact scene that so many restaurants back home (United States) try to replicate - only here it's the real deal. Important to note: no AC anywhere in the restaurant, only fans. This is the biggest reason for 4 out of 5 stars.

The pricing:

Everything but a handful of exquisite entrees were in the 100 - 400 BHT range (about $3 - $12 USD). Much better than what you'll find in the hotels/resorts.

We ordered grilled king prawn, A very nice experience. The chicken satay for starter was also very good.

This restaurant is on the main street near the beach, the food was so good we went twice, the staff are friendly and helpful, it was always busy so it's best to book a table
