Hotel was located in Taitung city, reachable from airport and railway station by taxi. Taitung bus interchange is reachable 5 mins by foot. Lots of eating options nearby and the hotel has a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner.
We had a quad room with a big bathroom. Wifi was quite weak hence we need to use our own wifi router. Bed was comfortable though the pillows were on the soft side.
Buffet breakfast provided, options were decent enough.
The hotel also provides a one time free transfer to the railway station.

Great hotel with a convenient location right next to the Taitung Bus Terminal and the Railway Art Village. Family mart is just across the hotel and several restaurants are located nearby. Room was modern and clean and Family Room had a bathtub. Hotel had a restaurant on the ground floor which had wonderful sliced cakes at excellent value - we bought a cake every night we were there. Breakfast was adequate but did not have a lot of variety - we were a bit tired of the food after staying for 4 nights.

Hotel provided complimentary pick up service from Taitung train station. This does not seem to be publicised by the hotel so you should check with the hotel after booking. Shuttle service was excellent and the staff waiting for us at Taitung train station was punctual.

Hotel also provided complimentary use of bicycles - we used them on 2 days to cycle to the Seashore Park and the Taitung Forest Park which are about 1 km away from the hotel.

Only drawback was the room wifi was non-existent. Signal was so poor that we could not use our laptops to surf the internet at night. Fortunately, we had a Taiwan prepaid sim card which offered unlimited data and had to rely on that for internet access at night in the hotel room. Hotel needs to do something about the wifi signal in the rooms. This is really not acceptable for a hotel. Our room was a Family Room for 4 pax on the 5th floor.

Overall, I will still recommend this hotel but make sure you have other means of internet access in case you are let down by the hotel's wifi.

The public transport in Taitung was a little hard to navigate and it took us a while to get to this hotel from the Taitung train station. The room was huge and well equipped. We took advantage of the free bikes and did the mountain ocean bikeway. The breakfast was generous but very busy. May I suggest to the hotel that they have their windows cleaned as it was apparent that these had not been cleaned for some time. The location was good with lots of restaurants around the hotel. The reception staff tried very hard to communicate in English - which we appreciated as we speak nil Mandarin - Thank you!
