Room: The room was clean, nicely lit with modern design, there was also plenty of space/surface around to open your luggage or to place stuff. I’m not sure if it’s a thing to have hard beds in Taiwan’s hotels but out of the 6 I stayed for this trip, only GAYA hotel had a nice soft bed! If our schedule were not so packed we would certainly have slept in much longer.
We were on a trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the hotel staff left a nice congratulatory note on the bed which lent a personal touch to our stay here.
Location: It is walking distance from many eateries and we easily found 2 great places to have dinner and dessert. Tiehua Music Village is just across the hotel but unfortunately it started raining heavily after dinner and we did not get to visit.
Breakfast: the spread was not super huge but sufficient for me. There was a separate counter for beef noodle soup and my husband got a bowl with generous portion of beef. Perhaps it was off peak season when I was there, but it wasn’t crowded when I had my breakfast.
Overall: We really enjoyed our short stay at GAYA hotel! There were many cute and interesting designs in the public areas of the hotel which made walking around fun too.
