3 of us stayed here for 2 nights. We enjoyed our stay here. The room and bathroom were big and bedding were comfortable. The breakfast spread was yummy and selections were good to keep us full even after lunch. Fresh Coffee were available from a coffee machine and not the usual brewed ones. You would only expect that from a 4 or 5 star hotel. The service was excellent on several counts: one lady actually asked us to check the bicycle lights before we use them and if the lights were dim, she will replace the batteries. When we took the free car shuttle to the train station, the lady receptionist insisted that she carried our bags to the car. If you ever visit Taitung, this would be the hotel

We arrived on a rainy day, expecting a comfort stay in this hotel. It has a rather spacious but dim lobby. The friendly receptionists greeted us and offered us some direction to walk around the city after we settled in. The water pressure in the bathtub was superb, like bringing in a masseur.

On the next morning, we had breakfast in the basement - minimal with limited choices. What surprised us was that when we checked out at 11am, the lift was locked and we had to walk all the way down to the ground floor. The receptionist just gave us a funny remark ' You can use the other lift on the other side of the corridor.' What a sneer!!
