We got one of the basement family rooms and thought it was great. Nice, clean, comfortable with all toiletries provided. There are no windows, so you can't really tell when it's morning unless you have the time. Still, this ensures you get a good full sleep which is what we needed. We found it very quiet too.

We stayed one night and found the check in/out process very straight forward and easy.

Look for the yellow building and enter through the metal door. About an 8min walk north from Ximen Station and very close to some night markets and shopping districts.

It's quite difficult to find at first as it's not located on the main road. The hotel is not as dreamy as the pics, but it's comfortable to stay in. The staffs are very friendly. It's very close to ximending, you don't need to worry if you overshopped with many bags to carry around Many people suggest to not book the quadruple rooms as they are in the basement, but I tried it and I think it's the best room compared to the family room and the standard room. Yes, I tried 3 different types of rooms when I was there. It's quieter and more spacious compared to other two.

Stayed here for one night. Room is smaller than what the picture shows, but it s tidy and clean room for 3 of us, good location, lots of shops and food stalls nearby, the room with everything we need, basic toiletry and hairdryer, definitely worth the money. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is a bit hard to find, we walked up and down the same street several times at night and still could not find it until a helpful uncle pointed us in the right direction. You should really be looking for a piece of plain white A4 piece of paper that says dreamhouse stuck to a metal gate. This place is not and should not be listed as a Hotel (on Agoda). For the price paid SGD233 for 2 nights, it is definitely not worth the price , It's at best an upgraded hostel room with private bath. Breakfast is not provided but it's within walking distance to ximen walking street and lots of food even late at night.

We arrived at 7.10 pm, they probably did not read the late checkin English instruction sent thru Agoda. There was no proper reception area, only a misplaced sign telling you to call a number but no phone was found. We waited 15 minutes, not knowing what to do in a narrow passageway with our luggages. There was another couple as well looking at the empty chair at the "reception". The reception lady wasn't the least apologetic when she did appear. A deposit of 500 NT is required. The lift takes 3 persons, 2 if you have luggage. Stairs down is very steep with small steps, take care when coming down.

I later discovered that this place sells for a lot less. Can only blame myself for not doing more homework.

Having said that, the room is fairly new, clean and compact, basic toiletries and towel are provided. They provide bottled water but not coffee/tea. Electric kettle, hair dryer, bedroom slippers, a safe, refrigerator, lcd tv and a place to hang clothes. Loved the hot shower with good pressure. There is no heater in the room, and it's below 10 degrees outside. We got a corner unit with 2 windows, and slept without the air conditioner on but still feeling cold because there was still a breeze coming in from outside through closed windows.

The toilet paper would be wet or damp because its next to shower (no curtains). The hair dryer would also be splashed with water and I'm not sure if it would be safe for use.
