We were booked in for 4 nights (including a weekend). We had a spacious room. The hotel offers complimentary transfer to various tourist attractions (only one way, but they tell you how to get back, which is always easy). I thought this was a great service and the driver pointed out things of interest along the way. The location is a couple of blocks from the MRT and 20 minutes walking. There are also several tourist attractions within 20-30 min walking. A free English newspaper was provided each day. The buffet breakfast was very tasty. We were there during the wedding season and the bar was not open for drinks, though they accommodated us in the downstairs café. The concierge was extremely helpful with information.

Had a wonderful experience on NYE 2016 in this traditional hotel in Taipei. Excellent Service and all amenities are good. Rooms are spacious and in ok condition. Walking through the hotel, you have the feeling everything is well kept and from the Roof Garden you can have an amazing view on the approach of airplanes landing at Songshan Airport. Breakfast buffet was ok but nothing special. Free parking under the hotel is provided, excellent if you are by car.

Rooms are a good size and very clean, breakfast included was great and staff were very helpful. There is lots to do in Taipei and the only slight draw back was the location (not a central as we'd thought and not near a train station) but this was covered by the hotel offering complimentary shuttle bus services to key tourist attractions such as 101 Tower, ShiLin Market, Ximending etc.

Lovely caring hotel with little touches, friendly staff, great conference facilities, easy to hail taxi and about 10 mins walk to subway station which takes you to Danshiu, a charming town with little alleys to explore.
We were a group of about 30 holding conference in the hotel. Everyone found the rooms, service and staff wonderful. The lift landing on each floor had a sitting area which allowed our group to chat and bond after a day of work and shopping. The girls like the soybean stall next to hotel and a popular braised pork shop that served a good selection of typical Taipei dishes round the corner There was even a catholic church close by. As it is a university district, the area was nice and food cheap but tasty.

Room Tip: Worthwhile to pay a little more for the deluxe room esp if need a work desk and sitting area

Had a comfortable stay here for a business trip. The hotel has a more boutique character than your typical large chain, and the decoration was quite warm and charming. Large rooms with a bed that guaranteed a good night's sleep. Quiet, but a good selection of restaurants available nearby and good connections.
