Travel extensively in Asia w/5 star hotels my preference. Okura Prestige hits all the marks for a great hotel. Rooms/hotel is meticulously maintained Staff is highly professional taking ownership of the challenges of international passengers arriving at odd hours. My most pleasant surprise was the bar staff offering very tasty food and drinks exactly as ordered. Currently staying at another Okura property which could learn a few things from this perfect execution of customer satisfaction

The hotel is located on the main road, rooms are spacious and staff are helpful and welcoming, we’ve had late night flight so they allowed us to stay at the hotel lounge until our pickup time arrived

The main thing about Taipei is that the hotels are not centrally located at one shopping district, so if you are looking at this hotel go ahead and book your room you won’t regret it.

One more thing electricity setup makes charging slower than normal and hair dryer colder than hot.. except the one available in the room works normally

Everything was above my expectations for a 5 star hotel. Room was clean and comfy. Food was excellent. Special thanks for Mr Vicky Tien for the arrangement of my wife’s birthday celebration.

First time in Taipei ..booked based on reviews here. Approx 40 mins from airport. Small pool...not like the photos. Only 5 sun beds. Some chairs and tables nearby. Can only see surrounding views through windows. Must have or buy swim cap. My issue was with swimmers spitting and clearing their nose into the overflow area of the pool. That seems worse than not wearing a swim hat which staff say is for hygiene purposes?!

Allocated a twin room ..they agreed to swap to king.

Told by bellboy no food or drink at pool. However, they do serve limited beers and soft drinks.

Room is spacious snd well appointed.

Would not extend check out time..strict 12 noon.

If you don’t have too much time to plan a trip, just like me, maybe you could try to stay at a great hotel one night to refresh your mind and mood. Although this alternative is a little bit expensive, it’s still a good solution to satisfy your desire to going travel.

The Okura Prestige Taipei, nearby the MRT Zhongshan station, is an elegant hotel. When you stay there, you’ll feel no pressure, comfort, and ease. Its facilities in a room are quite great, and the service is also good. However, the breakfast buffet is not my cup of tea. Perhaps, I’m way too picky, or maybe there are a bunch of wonderful restaurants around there to choose.

As a result, the best way to enjoy your vacation in The Okura Prestige Taipei is to stay inside overnight, and go outside to look for delicious foods!
