We arrived here on the last night of a adventure-filled trip down the garden route. It was the perfect place to unwind. So peaceful. Relaxing. Everyone was so welcoming and it had the most personal feel to it. Would definitely recommend booking in to the 2 hour couple spa retreat (you can get added extras such as a snack platter and sparkling wine). Every minute we were just more and more impressed. Then there was the evening meal- the chef spoke to us personally about our dinner choices and wow. It was incredible. I don't think I could fault this place. Maybe the only thing was the price- but I guess you are paying for the most luxurious experience. Truly felt like a VIP!

We stayed two nights at Trogon House, along with our friends from Colorado. We were absolutely astonished at this spectacular B&B-type hotel, in a jungle setting. The accommodations were luxurious, yet rustic. The common living areas were filled with antiques and art pieces. And the service and gourmet meals were fabulous!!
It's well worth the trek down the bumpy jungle road and occasional baboons blocking the road! Definitely 5 stars!!

We stayed for one night at Trogon's. If we had knew how beautiful the location and how helpfull and nice the staff was, we would definitly stayed longer! The sounds of monkeys and birds in combination with a stunning view from the deck made are afternoon unforgettable. The room was very spacious, clean and unique. Special thanks to Lizel who made us feel at home and prepared a great diner with african specialties!! We we'll be back!

Cosy, warm forest cabins with beautiful views tucked away in the forest. The staff was warm and friendly and the place was well maintained. Only problem is food - as there are no eating options in the forest other than the guest house itself.

A wonderful venue in a magical forest environment. Excellent breakfast! The dirt road to the venue is already an adventure (mind the monkeys...) and the location is very strategic. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
