Very badly ran this year. Far to many people let in. A hazard with kids. We arrived at 1:45 which wasn’t too late in the day! People would still be at parades etc no seats to be had in the bar or the function room! Well there was probably half the seats free in the function room but people took it upon themselves to hold them for family friends etc who hadn’t even arrived yet! There was one lady sitting at a big round table with about 12 free seats on it for over an hour before anyone else joined her! That should not happen! Management shouldn’t be standing in the corner grinning when 2 women are fighting over a chair. That was your responsibility to tell people that they couldn’t hold tables and chairs for people who weren’t there. Then fights wouldn’t be breaking out. We were a family of 4 Willing to have dinner and a few drinks but we weren’t willing to pay €16 each for a cavery to eat it off our laps. I felt it was just about cramming as many people into the hotel to make money on food & drink. We had 1 drink and left. Kids were bashing off each other on the bouncing castles because there was just too many kids and not enough stuff. It was a lawsuit waiting to happen or maybe did happen. Poor, badly ran event this year and management need to do better and take control of situations. If your at full capacity don’t be afraid to turn people away.

Phoned prior to visit,to arrange 2 rooms and shuttle to airport on Sat 24th morning at 7am. On check in on 23rd we were asked time of shuttle and told receptionist 4 times 7am. She told us to be down 15mins before time. She would have seen a baby and two young children in our party of 7. We were allocated 2 rooms In a corridor full of a party of young people who were in a dance group!! They banged bedroom doors all night and were out in the corridor! Why were we allocated these rooms especially with young children who were unable to get to sleep. Rang reception, no help.
Both families down in reception next morning at 6 40am, we waited and waited no approach from anyone! Eventually went to reception. No no you are booked in for 10am shuttle!! Comment from us, do you think 7 of us are down at 6 40 with 3 children incl a baby with all our luggage for a 10 am lift ??? Basil faulty time. Meanwhile youngest daughter who thank goodness had not booked into this excuse for a hotel panicking at airport with family as we had the group booking of 11.
Surely it won't happen on our return!! Comment from them, we have your mobile and we check the arrivals there will be no problem we can contact you.
Result no bus there on our return so 7 of us includ little baby left for an hour outside section 16 which is the furthest from Dublin Airport, Got through to Duty Manager. Useless, told us they would contact by phone the coach driver and he would come back. Total lies, had to wait until 7 30pm. Family went in to see him on return to hotel, not interested in us.
Phoned General Manager CYRIL LAFFIN 3 times over days, no return call although we left our details with staff members. Thursday 29th, He is at TRAINING.
The question is, Is he getting training or is he giving the Training!!
I am sure he is really proud of our families treatment for a holiday of a lifetime in Disneyland Paris
Do not take the risk of booking this arrangement, THEY WIlL LET YOU DOWN.
Ask yourself ARE YOU PREPARED TO TAKE THE RISK AND MISS YOUR FLIGHT??

Room Tip: Don't book here

My wife and I recently stayed at the city North hotel over Saint Patrick's day weekend. 1st off, this hotel is nowhere near Dublin city center. You have to either take a €10 per person one way bus early in the morning or a €50 taxi ride into the city. The ride is about 40 min one way. Don't be fooled when they say they're in Dublin. They aren't even in the county. They are in County Meath. Not only did the airport shuttle not pick us up, but we didn't have running water in our room for two days! No shower, no bathroom, nothing. We had to go down to the lobby to use their bathroom. Hotel staff was less than helpful when it came to telling us a timeline of when we would get water back in our room or even supplying fresh water for us to drink. That gets me on to another fact, this hotel does not have any sort of convenience area or vending machines. Didn't bring nail clippers with you? You have to go all the way to the city to get them because the hotel doesn't have any that you can purchase. Want a fresh bottle of water? You're out of luck. Fill your water bottle up at the sink. This hotel needs to get with the times.
I thought maybe the hotel would want to make up for the lack of water in some way, but no. Instead I got attitude from the manager and staff when I asked them for a timeline on when the water would be fixed. Somehow the lobby still had water but our room did not.
Don't try to order room service either because their menu is so outdated they don't have 3/4 of the items listed on the menu.
Will never recommend or stay in this hotel again.

We stayed here for the night courtesy of British Airways as our flight from Dublin was cancelled. I was pleasantly surprised by the room, which was large, well laid out & as good as other airport hotels I have stayed in. Evening meal was buffet style & was OK, but not really to my taste, as I prefer a restaurant meal. The bar was quite buzzing & all the eating & drinking areas were together & designed quite cleverly. Breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful. Although we were pretty fed up having to spend an extra night away, the experience was as good as it could be. I would say this is more of a three & a half star, due to the buffet style food & the fact that it doesn't have a pool, which would be a great addition.
