It was nice but overpriced! We decided to dine in the restaurant and the only option that we had it was mezedes (25euros per person) and the portions were small. Also the price per night is very much because it offers only bed and breakfast. In other these types of hotel at this price they offer also spa or dinner or both! The breakfast it was just ok.

Apokryfo is one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in...anywhere in the world. Cypriot hospitality shines through in abundance, the food is excellent and the decor and architectural detail is the best on the island. What sets Apokryfo apart from all the other hotels and inns is the use of and celebration of traditional Greek Cypriot house hold goods and decoration. There is a feeling of enduring quality about the place. The village of Lofou is delightful and special. Lia, the inns chef and manager was fabulous and welcoming. 10/10!

I can’t praise this hotel/guesthouse enough. They treated us like family and fed us like royalty! The room was lovely and cosy but spacious. Beautiful surroundings and a great base for exploring the mountains. Would happily go every year if we could!

Revisiting Cyprus with my mum after 40 something years since we lived there I was aware that Limassol had more or less doubled in size and had lost much of its old charm so chose places to stay that were a bit more traditional in appearance.
This place was a bit challenging to find and driving down very narrow streets and round tight corners to get there made it feel very out the way . From arrival to departure it was perfect. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the pool. Around were pomegranate and fig trees. It was quiet, calm and immaculate with some very unusual aspects to the room - like the bedside box that had a plan of the room lights so you could decide which lights to turn on and off without leaving the bed. Included in the room was a map of the village and suggested walks - of which we followed one.
We ate in the restaurant and were delighted with the meze which was made of fresh local ingredients. For example a fresh fig, pomegranate and walnut salad, vegetable and tomato dolmades etc. After 24 hours we felt thoroughly refreshed, it was difficult to leave.
