Description: Ippudo, our ramen restaurant, was first established in 1985 in Hakata, Fukuoka. Currently in 2017, we have over 100 stores throughout Japan. In 1990, our founder, Shigemi Kawahara, entered the Hall of Fame for winning the the ramen competition of the show, "TV Champion" three consecutive times. Then in 2005, he gained the title "Noodle King" after coming in 1st in the "Largest Ramen Competition in History to Decide the Noodle King". In 2008, our first store outside of Japan was opened in New York. Now, we have stores in London, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Sydney, and in other countries all around the world, totaling 60 stores. Ippudo is the force driving the global ramen fever. We innovate and build the "global standard of ramen shops" all over the world by ensuring not only our delicious tasting ramen but also our great service and atmosphere. We will continue to share our authentic tonkotsu ramen, that we have pursued to the highest quality, throughout the world.

Last day in Tokyo and decided to try this place. We were one train stop away in Shibuya. Excellent end to our trip in Tokyo. We had lots of ramen during our stay. This had the lightest broth but full of flavour. I had the spicy soup a #4 which was really hot and loved it! The Gyoza was good which cost us ¥100 for 5 pieces as a add on to our bowl of noodles. Overall an excellent end to our stay in Tokyo.

I tried more than 5 ramen places around Osaka, and Tokyo, and so far, Ippudo is the best! The over all taste, the noodle, the broth, and their special grill pork over rice with half boiled egg and ume is worth to try. I am very happy with the meal!

They have the reputation and they make it happen, isn't that wonderful, and regretfully exceptional but that is just another reason to enjoy this place. And the good news is that they have several of them all over Asia, the original one being from Fukuoka.
It is all one can , not only hope or expect, but wish for from a ramen place. Compliment, gratitude, respect

The ramen here was incredible, full of flavour, but light and nourishing. The service was quick so worth a wait if there's a line. We had different flavours and both were incredible. I had the spicy minced meat and my partner had the traditional. It's really good value as well. Would also recommend the gyoza, thin tender wrapping with a juicy and flavoursome filling.

We walked to this outlet from Westin Tokyo, took about 15 mins. There was no crowd when we arrived at 7:30pm. The ramen and soup stock is Ippudo standard, and the gyoza was well done.
