It’s a very “WOW” place for all of us! From the first enquiry email till the last day
we left the place, we are surrounding by friendly, sharing & efficiencies staff all the times!

1) Enquiry: From the detail provided, we know how confidence with the resort owner!
(Information included resort layout, room type, price, facilities & etc.)
You can start to imaging before step on the land!

2) Location: It’s very unique place which “hiding” in palm oil estate.
Just a short distance from Johor Bahru takes about 1.5hours.

3) Room: It’s a very basic room with double bed + air-condition.
Most of the rooms are allow for extra bed/ mattress.
Toilet is clean with hot shower.

4) View: It’s very nice view which cannot get from Johor Bahru 5 star resort!
However it’s sea NOT beach, but its make us feel to “open heart”!

5) Price: It’s worth! We not only enjoy the very basic facilities here but its
surrounding by warm service with smiling face.

6) Beach: With 5 minutes drive you can reach a place called “Temala Beach”
It’s actually a bay with white sand & clean water.
We can play together with children (my girl 3yrs+bb7mths) on the beach or in the water coz its quite safe with very light wave.

7) Food: We no comment on this coz we only had breakfast there.
We bring own food for BBQ! (But I suggest it’s better take their “food package” instead of “ala-carte” coz the price quite high oh…)

** One thing can be improved is...May prepare some coconut smoke to "kick-out" those "Giant Mosquito"! hahahaahha.............

A glorious ocean view greeted us the moment we arrived at the main building. its hard to find such a property that sits right at the coast. The staff there were so helpful and always smiling! Chalets are very basic with attached bathrooms and clean beds. Its like a modern kampung. Very idyllic and rustic. The cottages around the lily pond are lighted up at night and is charming. Perfect getaway destination. No tv sets nor internet access which is perfect for us as it is great to see the family get together and enjoying a boardgame and each other's company! If you really need your tv fix, there is one in the restaurant that you are welcome to view. However, it does spoil the atmosphere a bit when the tv is tuned to a loud jarring programme that drowns the soothing sounds of the ocean. Airconditioning in the bamboo huts were inefficient in cooling the units down in the afternoon. You are better off just opening the windows and letting the ocean breeze cool you down! Food-wise, it was excellent. Kudos to the owner's wife who never repeats the dishes at each meal and even managed to whip up a thai feast for dinner one night! Pity that many of the light fixtures do not work in my bamboo chalet. If you are looking for a place to get away from urban life, this is it. Its no Hilton and toilet facilities are very basic but clean. As the coast line at the resort is rather rocky, one has to drive about 8 mins to a beautiful beach with rolling waves and warm waters. The rocky coastline offers nature lovers a host of exploration and research opportunities.. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and are looking forward to going back in 3 months time.

  • Liked — Service with a smile, great food and great views of the ocean.
  • Disliked — Poor air-conditioning and faulty light switches

Arranged a sort retreat for my colleagues. The accomodation comes in many choices. Choose the bigger units for 3 to 6 people. The AC units here are quieter than the smaller units which use the noisier window unit air-conditioners. You can sleep peacefully to the sound of crickets... very much the kampong or village feel about teh place. Food wise no complains. Kudos to the chef who cooks up a storm breakfast, lunch and dinner. Singaporeans are very fussy about their food. You can watch a great sunrise in the mornings before breakfast, go beach combing and swimming and opt for a fun 4WD ride on an old beat up Ford. I understand from the very friendly resort owner, Syed Ahmed that many other activities can be arranged as well. Overall a great way to get away for a short weekend retreat...

- Nice View, very relaxing with great service staff.
- Good Food ( A bit oily though... perhaps kitchen staff should consider using less oil)
- Excellent place to relax with family. Place good for kids too.
- However its expensive even during the low season. On weekday I paid RM 240 for room with all meals included inside. on Wknd its RM 300. So looks like property is targeted at Singaporeans.
- The place has very good breeze in afternoon which you can enjoy over beer.
