This is one of those places you hesitate to tell strangers about because it is so good that these people will keep coming back ... often and in great numbers. Then WE will have difficulty getting a reservation! Every dish, literally, is delicious, lovingly prepared and perfect. Of course it is not surprising that the meat is superb at Tolin Macelleria but also the accompanying first coarses and vegetable dishes are all worth a special journey. Of special note are the extraordinary pasta e fagioli, the tris di carne crudi and marinated beef tongue salad. Main courses not to miss are the fegato alla veneziano (the best we've ever tasted ... even in Venice!), vitello orecchio dell'elefante, the fiorentina, the costata di manzo or vitello or maiale. The desserts are all created and made by the beautiful and very talented Laura. The selection of wines and artisanal beers is very impressive. Listen carefully to Andrea's recommendations. You are always treated with great respect and courtesy by the warm and friendly Tolin family: Andrea, Laura, their equally beautiful and charming daughter Camilla, her brother and, on busy evenings, local friends. An experience not to be missed. Always a special evening.
