Thank you Vicki and crew for an fantastic, comfortable stay. This was a return visit having stayed there last year. The units are always clean, comfortable and affordable. The pool is a welcome sight at the end of the day along with a cool cocktail during "Happy Hour". We stayed in one of the studio units and these are all well placed around the property. We enjoyed it so much I am returning in September for a girls week.

Recently spent 12 nights at this lovely property on Rarotonga, Cook Islands. We booked a Garden Studio Bungalow which was just great for the two of us. Set in the center of the property in a beautiful garden setting, it was just what we needed to relax.
Great breakfasts, all the amenities you could want along with the very best service you could ever need. The owner, front end staff, cleaning staff and grounds keepers were friendly and amazing. The people of the Cook Islands along with the staff of the resort are what make this such an amazing place to visit. Great beach swimming right across the street from the resort. We recommend Raro Tours of the island as well as Hiighland Paradise cultural show. Look forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: All rooms are great, but if you need an oven rent a one bedroom or larger.

We had a great short stay in one of the Garden Studios. My partner and I were travelling with our infant son and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in studio 5 which was very close to the pool so we could relax outside while our son slept but were still within ear shot of him. The gardens and infant pool were ideal for keeping our baby entertained as well. Thanks Lagoon Breeze Villas for helping make our first family holiday special.

Room Tip: Room 5 was great for us as we had an infant. It's right next to the pool so we could leave him to nap in the room while we swam at the pool

We came back to Rarotonga for a second visit and this time booked in at the Lagoon Breeze. At first we were a bit nervous because we are not 'resort' people but this looked quiet and small and it was close to the beaches we liked in the Titikaveka area, and was a good price.

Cook Islanders are very warm and friendly people and given to hospitality and our welcome at Lagoon Breeze was very much this way. Our pick up van from the airport stopped at the office to get our key and then drove us right up to our lovely garden suite, #9.
The whole property is kept very neat and clean and appealing and all the staff are very very helpful. The pool is always very clean and the whole area is neat and tidy.
Our suite was clean and airy and very well kitted out for us to be able to prepare our own meals there. Each morning breakfast is served in an open cafe area and it is a good spread of fruit, yogurt, cereals, breads and condiments along with juice, smoothies, coffee and tea. There are 3 bbq's on the property available for guests to use and we often cooked our dinner on one. (Prime Foods in town has a good selection of meats for bbq'ing)
Every afternoon at 4:30 until 6pm there is a happy hour in the open cafe area by the office and this is a lovely low key time to get together and chat with other guests, and enjoy visiting with people from various parts of the globe. We really loved this time and met some very interesting and lovely people.
The beach across the road is just fine for swimming and you can borrow equipment at the office, beach chairs and extra beach towels. If you want a great area to swim head a little up the road in front of the dive shop and it is lovely there. We still find Titikaveka area great for snorkelling and there is a nice picnic area on the beach side just past the 7th Day Adventist School.
Internet is expensive and not as reliable in the Cook Islands so if you can use it less frequently it is a good thing. You can buy time at the front desk for the internet.
The office will gladly make bookings for tours or restaurants for you and arrange for transportation.
There are laundry facilities by the office as well which is very useful. The clockwise and counterclockwise buses stop almost right in front of the Lagoon Breeze so it is very convenient for heading into town. Saturday morning market is a must where you can pick up fresh foods for your stay. It is colourful, friendly, full of music and conversation and busy. It is best to be there before 9am to get fresh breads and veg and fruits.
When it is time to leave you will often find you are checking out at 10am and not flying out of the Cook Islands until quite late in the day. While you can arrange a late check out it is also just as easy to pack up your things but leave out your swimming stuff and enjoy the pool or beach for the day. There is a place to shower and change before getting your pick-up for the airport later in the day.
We would highly recommend staying here and hope one day we will be back again ourselves.
