They say every cloud has a silver lining, well ours was a rescue mission from the worst floods in 50 years in another resort further down south, to a friend taking us to this wonderful, new surf hotel set up in the hills just outside Tarazhout.. Reda and Laura were the perfect hosts welcoming us in to their place, proudly showing us their brand new rooms and facilities -it was a dream. Every meal we had there ( breakfast, lunch and dinner) was superb and it was great fun chatting to our hosts and other guests. When the sun shone, we were guided up to the roof terrace where Reda hooked up a hammock and comfy cushions for us to chill out on, after taking in the lovely coastline around ( a perfect perch to sneak a peek at the surf).
Reda is a professional surfer and is set in the knowledge of the best places to surf whether beginner or more advanced ( I myself being a beginner and Nick extremely experienced).
The hotel is set outside of the main town so even though a car is preferable, there is jeep which can take you down into the town, and again, I suspect Reda and Laura would be well positioned to show you a good night- with us having a 7 month baby, it wasn't our time to party. Saying that, this hotel is extremely welcoming to all ages.
This is a great place to stay, with a warm friendly atmosphere and the chicken and vegetable tagine!! We'll be definitely going back!
Many thanks guys, C&N&B
