Love this comfortable and cozy restaurant. Sand on the floor and plastic chairs...Loved by the locals! We stayed at the Intercontinental resort and Philip the owner of Coco D'Isle picked us up and gave us a ride back to the resort. The food was so delicious and presented so nicely! We HIGHLY recommend dining there!!

I had such a lovely time here. The driver who picked us up from our hotel and the wait staff were very charming, but the food was a real standout. We ordered yummy battered crab croquettes and an octopus salad for entrees. I ordered the raw tuna with coconut milk and my husband had the Maui-Mahli vindaloo for mains. He had a beer, I had a whole coconut for drinks. All together was AUD$100 (about USD $75) so very reasonable for Moorea.

We were SO full by the end we couldn’t order dessert - even though we saw some on other tables and wanted to. We’ve got one night left on Moorea - we might just come back here tomorrow.

Fun sand floor, good vibe. Highly recommended!

We were staying just down the road so made our way there the first night the prices were average for Moorea not cheap but not so bad. We had two very nice dishes of fish my husbands looked very fancy with a lovely floral display mine was not fancy but tasted great. we had a cocktail which did make the cost go a bit high but that was our choice. We looked nearby it seemed more reasonable and was very crowded we tried to return again but it was closed on the sunday evening.

Worth noting it is not easy to find a restaurant open on a Sunday night so be aware.

After being recommended this restaurant we took advantage of our rental car and went for dinner. It was the absolute best dinner we had in Moorea and we ate at 4 of the top recommended restaurants. We loved the ambiance with the plastic chairs and sand on the floor. It was the only restaurant where there were locals dining. The best was the coconut filled with whiskey, rum or vodka! Large and varied menu. My husband and I split 2 different entrees. The place is small so everyone was chatting with their neighbors and it gave it a very friendly vibe. I hope to get back someday!

It would be 4.5 stars, if TripAdvisor would allow it.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner here while visiting Mo’orea. Like others have mentioned, the floor is sand and the chairs are plastic—but who cares, the food is great! We were promptly picked up from our hotel and appeared to be the only customers there, for about 20 minutes :) The place quickly filled up, but the service was still efficient and super polite! While waiting for our drinks to arrive, a local fisherman showed up with two HUGE mahi-mahi for the restaurant. The owner kindly let me go into the kitchen, check out the fish up close and personal, and get a picture!!! Since I’d seen the fish arrive only moments before, I happily ordered the mahi-mahi in vanilla coconut sauce with rice. Delicious!! My husband, who was getting a bit tired of Polynesian food, ordered a calzone with ham. He loved it, and was especially enthralled with the twisted shape! Overall, a great meal at a lovely place with awesome staff!
