A very busy sunny afternoon in August saw lots of customers queueing for lunch. The staff were friendly and worked very hard to get eight of us seated and supplied with drinks very quickly. We all had their mussels and fries with a local wine. Perfect for a sunny outdoor meal. The rest of the menu looked good, but it was one of those afternoons when only mussels and white wine will do! Thanks all at L'Omaha

This place is mediocre at best. Service was a hit or miss each time the server came to the table. We had to BEG for still water after we asked for it on 3 different occasions. There is not any seating where you feel like you are not in the way & if you are in the way (or in our case other customers who were waiting for tables were right on top of us) the employees do not care if they or other customers are being rude. The burgers were okay (I may be spoiled with a WONDERFUL place back home though) but the fries were really good. The price we paid for our meal was not worth the food or the service though. When my family returns to Omaha Beach this will NOT be a stop.

After a busy morning visiting Bayeux and the Normandy beaches the family found ourselves at L'Omaha for a spot of lunch. It was very busy, but only had to wait 5 mins for a table. The service was very good and the food very nice. My wife ordered Moules et frite and we were staggered by the sheer amount! It took two of us to eat the cauldron of shells that confronted us and they were delicious. No specific kids menu that I could see, but the snack menu was fine for this.

Overall very good experience
